National Volunteer Week was proclaimed by order of President Richard Nixon in 1973. His desire was to create a means of thanking the hard working individuals who contribute so much to our country.
Each year since, the celebration continued. Currently, the Week is part of the Points of Light projects. The Points of Light is a national group of volunteers and services.
The Queen's Team is proud to announce they have received individual and group recognition for their part in the community as part of National Volunteer Week. Please click on the icon to see the proclamation or commendation.
Not all government officials chose to bestow proclamations or commendations. We gratefully thank those who did. Many of our deserving Team members did not receive one. To ALL OUR TEAM. We appreciate all you do. You are so deserving of honor. Thanks for giving of yourself.
