About Me
I'm 32 years old, an avid
reader and a Mother. I have 2 beautiful girls ages
2 and 6, who I love very much. My oldest, Allison,
goes to Kindergarten right now. I'm so proud of
her; she's learning to read and count and she's a
Hawk Honor student for the month of March.
My youngest, Kathrine Rose or Rosie, is learning
to talk; she sometimes sounds like the chattering
chipmunks in our yard. She's such a fun little
sprite, running and playing and getting into
things and/or trouble. I just started a Yahoo!
360 blog and have enjoyed telling the
world about some of my favorite things. |
Hobbies
and Interests
My main hobbies include
reading, watching TV, crocheting, tatting,
scrapbooking, crafting of all sorts and learning
new crafts. I'm currently learning how to knit and
do Romanian Point Lace (RPL)
My favorite types of
movies are Science Fiction or Fantasy with an
occasional Romance for spice. I also love Anime
when I can find them. I'm a huge fan of Hayao
Miyazaki who made such movies as Spirited
Away and Castle
in the Sky.
My favorite TV shows are
Sailor Moon, Avatar, Pokemon and Card Captor
Sakura. I also enjoy watching Dora the Explorer,
Blue's Clues, Wiggles, The Backyardigans, Big, Big
World, Zoom and other fun and educational shows
with my daughters. |
Friends
and Family
My best friend is my
Mother, who lives very close to me and who I spend
lots of time with. She and I share a love of
books, computers and scrapbooking. She just bought
a Scrap Rack at the local CK Scrap Convention.
She's so excited about getting everything in her
scrap room packed into one organizer instead of
all over the place. I've even been helping her
sort and organize on occasion and it's really fun
to play with her stuff. Especially when she gives
me her leftovers and "junk." I just love
hand-me-down Scrapbooking scraps. |
