| Austin Chronicle - Music Recommended - June 22, 2001 Vol.20 No.43 CD Release Party @ Stubbs BBQ Without much more than simple dedication and dedicated word of mouth, Quatropaw has sureptitioulsy racked up over a half a decade on the local scene. Thee quartet's breezily eclectic repertoire has prevented them from assuming a niche at any one particular club (Speakeasy), but it's served them very well on their albums, All Night Living, Red, and now the newest Flight. An engaging, toe-tapping good time, Flight's arc from party rock to sweetly twanging folk should slip well into a live show already studded with happy surprises like a bang-up version of the Who's "Substitute". Shelley King, one of Austin's first ladies of song, opens with her band. |

| Beth Richard is a singer/guitarist for the local pop/rock band Quatropaw. She has put out 3 albums, 2 videos and has radio play on over 25 stations. Being a first generation American , the importance of living in a free country has been stressed throughout her life. |
