02-11-01  MEMPLUG SM ADAPTOR
It looks like the Memplug Smart Media adaptor could be the winner in the Springboard storage war.  There was a recent post on Visor Central by DocVisor,  that compares the different storage modules and also states that the Memplug module has built in drivers, so you don't have to purchase the driver software separatly as with other adaptors.  Also Smart Media cards, on average, cost about half that of Compact Flash cards (although SM cards are not avaliable with as large capacities as CF cards).

PRISM has shared information that PDABuzz has posted a story about InnoPocket's Springboard CompactFlash adaptor.  The Order Of Palm recommends that all Visor owners review this posting.

02-03-01  REVERSE BACKLIGHT, NO HACKS!
Pendalar submitted this tip that seems to work on greyscale Palm devices:   go to global find then enter .8, this should reverse the backlight.  This has been verified on a Palm IIIxe with OS 3.5.2.

02-03-01 VISORS WITH FLASH ROM?!
According to a thread on the Visor Central message board, this is true.   Now all someone has to do is find some software that allows this Flash ROM to be accessed.
