Quagmire is done due to differences and shit. Thanks to all our fans, friends, and families who came out to our shows, bought our cds and supported us in our music. The members of quagmire have all made new bands and such now, and at some point we can add links to any new band website. Read "A Downward Spiral of Consequence and Instinct" in the Ideas and Reactions page. Check out the South Mountain Fair "Battle of the Bands" on August 19th. We'll be playing, and amongst other things, riding the Tilt-a-whirl naked. Plus, there are a WHOLE lot of NEW pictures, including a PICS page now. So, check that out too. It's quite sexual. Read " The Stage we Live in: White-washed and 'true' " on the Ideas and Reactions page. Also, check out Quagmire's brotha band, Ryan and the Scumbags at www.ryanandthescumbags.tk Thanks to everyone for coming out to the Dandelion Festival Battle of the Bands on June 4th, and for the Bronson Centre "Battle of Rock" on June 5th. We had a really good time playing infront of you guys, and congrats to all the bands who won. I know we'll be spending our cash on some motha fuckin Jack Daniels. peace. We've got some confirmations for shows coming up in June and possibly some sooner than that. We will be playing Back-to-Back "Battle of the Bands" June 4 and 5. Check the SHOWS page for more details. Thanks for everyone who came out to the show last night at Club SAW. It was kick ass show even though the turn-out wasn't that large. Still, there were awesome bands, people, and skankers. Hope to see you all around soon. There has been an important addition to the Quagmire Website. "IDEAS AND REACTIONS" is the new page dedicated to Leftist and Radical views and opinions to help further people's understanding and learning about organizations aiding Human Rights, Socialism, Communism, Environmentalism, and more. Five months later, Quagmire has finally mailed their demo to "Punk World Order" at 89.1 FM (Tuesdays 4-5pm). So keep your ears and butt cheeks open for that ass rockin show and you might hear yours truly spoiling the normal kick ass line up of good punk bands. Do you stay up at night bored out of your mind because you have nothing better to do than service your own body to a computer screen?? Well you could be listening to kick ass punk shows on Mondays from midnight-2am at 93.1fm(ckcu) and on Wednesdays from 11-12pm at 107.9fm(ckdj), instead of wallowing alone in whatever filth you produce during those hours. They might even make fun of us if you're lucky, so check it out. Hey. Thanks to everyone who came out to the showcase on the 21st. It was a good turnout, and we look forward to next year's. To all the bands that played, good show, and to all those who played Michael Jackson songs for interludes between acts; very classy. It got everyone in that, oh how should i put it?...petafile mood. Brilliant choice of tunes gentlemen. |
