| SPM, also known as Carlos Coy, Los, El Coyote, and Los El Mexicano (in english Charlie Brown), is the #1 rapper to come out of Houston, TX. He is also the top selling artist of his record lable Dope House Records. In his time of making Dope House Records what it has become today, he's brought a few friends with him to make this company the best there is. He's brought such artists as Low-G, Baby Beesh/Baby Bash, Hillwood Hustlaz, Juan Gotti, 24/7 Hustlaz, Uchie, and many more. SPM has released 7 solo albums and has appeared on several other albums such as Lone Star Ridaz and Baby Beesh's Savage Dreams album. After DJ Screw's death, SPM, a good friend of DJ Screw, decided to keep what DJ Screw had invinted alive which was the founding of chopping a song and slowing it down calling it screwed & chopped music. He's done that by making a series of compilations he calls Screwston. Songs of the Dope House Records artists screwed & chopped by DJ Mike Moe. This being a tribute to DJ Screw and the enjoyment for all rap fans. The first album was entitled The Day Houston Died November 16, 2000, the day DJ Screw died. That album was so popular, that the demand was high for a continuing series. So it shall continues as the Screwston albums will continue to be released for years to come. | |||||||||||
