Synopsis
Regional Crime Unit officer KWONG (KWOK CHUN ON) is investigating a serial homicide. The suspect is a past criminal who had escaped from his late fater HO (HUI SIU HUNG) more than twenty years ago.
KWONG races a detective fiction writer SAN (CHAN WAI SHAN, FLORA) to find the real killer. He does not have any clue. Suddenly, HO rings his old cell phone to talk to KWONG. Apparently HO died in a very undignified manner. Therefore, KWONG does not tell him their real relationship. He uses HO, who exists in 1984, to help him solve many tough cases.
KWONG suspects SAN's boss HERMAN (SHEK SAU) is a killer. She takes the risk to find out the truth. When the case is solved, KWONG and SAN become lovers. With her help, he makes up with HO.
SAN was disabled in a traffic accident when she was young. KWONG asks HO to help her to avoid the accident in the past. However, her fate changes immensely afterward. KWONG eventually finds out how HO died ...
