Effie is the dog with it all, breeding, class and intelligence. Effie has achieved a lot in her short life, from the quiet life to super-stardom, there isn't much this dog hasn't done. This is a tribute to the one and only

When Effie was just a small pup, there was nothing else she loved more in the world than to go out and catch a few waves on her bodyboard. When there were no waves around, that didn't bother Effie, she just hung out chatting up the local surfie boys. Soon Effie was entering bodyboarding competitions and pretty soon she became Junior Australian Bodyboarding Champion.

Oneday at the beach, a person saw Effie and couldn't believe what they saw. They couldn't believe anything so beautiful actually existed in this cruel, harsh world we live in. The person started talking to Effie, and unbeknownst to her, her modelling career was just beginning.
The man who spotted Effie on the beach turned out to be a photographer for Cleo magazine. Effie appeared on many covers, and actually got to pose with Craig Wing, Cleo's Most Eligible Bachelor 2000.

This kick-started a major career for Effie in the television industry. She won guest roles on such great television shows such as The Young And The Restless (bottom right), and The Bold And The Beautiful (top right). Effie new she had reached the height of her television career when she was the celebrity gardener on Burke's Backyard. She then realised she had reached the low of her television career when they decide to road test her the next week.
