"Mmm...Pointless Nostalgia" a.k.a. Movies I've Seen from Original Ticket Stubs

Well, as you can probably guess from the title, I'm a saver. I save every damn thing that touches my hands so I have quite a collection of movie stubs from movies I've seen with my friends and family. Of course, this list isn't going to be very complete because some tickets have been lost and others (specifically the ones from the cheap bastards at the Atrium) have simply faded over time...whether it was a few years or fifteen minutes after I bought the ticket. Anyway, I hope you all find this somewhat amusing...pointless...whatever.

Ticket Stubs from The Atrium (no year and some of it is barely able to be read)

Movie: Halloween H20
My Choice?: It was not my first choice since I had not seen the other "Halloween" movies but since it was the only "scary" (yeah, right) movie in theaters at the time, I saw it anyway with my best friend.
Showtime/Cost: Probably a matinee at the Atrium but I can't read the ticket and it was most likely $4.50.

Movie: Deep Rising
My Choice?: Yeah, it looked pretty good in the coming attractions but I felt like it kept you hanging at the end and I was so sure there would be a sequel but there wasn't.
Showtime/Cost: 4:35pm matinee 2/06 at $4.50/ticket

Movie: Lost in Space
My Choice?: Not exactly. My best friend and I were not 17 at the time and they wouldn't let us into rated R movies so this was the only one we could see.
Showtime/Cost: 1:00pm matinee 4/14 at $4.50/ticket

Movie: Scream 2
My Choice?: Yeah, I saw the first one at home rather than in the theater so I wanted to see the second one in the theater.
Showtime/Cost: 9:25pm 12/03 at $7.50/ticket

Movie: Big Daddy
My Choice?: Yeah, it looked funny. Adam Sandler is usually funny, sometimes a complete ass though so it was a toss up but I liked this movie.
Showtime/Cost: 5:00pm matinee 7/02 at $5.00/ticket (and so the ticket prices climb ever higher)

Movie: The Haunting
My Choice?: Yeah, it looked good in the coming attractions but I didn't like it too much towards the end...definitely not scary.
Showtime/Cost: 4:45pm matinee 7/23 at $5.00/ticket

Movie: House on Haunted Hill
My Choice?: Yeah, and this one was nice and gory for me...kinda fizzled in the end though.
Showtime/Cost: 8:15pm 10/29 at $8.00/ticket

Movie: Stigmata
My Choice?: Sorta. It looked interesting in the coming attractions so my best friend and I decided to see it.
Showtime/Cost: 10:45pm 9/25 at $8.00/ticket

Movie: Scary Movie
My Choice?: Yeah, it looked funny but I still wish I would've seen some of the other movies they were making fun of besides Scream. I wish the sequel was as good as the first.
Showtime/Cost: 8:35pm 7/11 at $8.75/ticket

Movie: The Mummy Returns
My Choice?: Yeah, I liked the first one despite the fact that I still haven't seen the first one all the way through yet...seems very long and I can never get through it, even without commercials.
Showtime/Cost: 5:10pm matinee 06/01 at $5.50/ticket (and so the prices still climb ever higher)

Movie: Jurassic Park 3
My Choice?: No, I still haven't even seen the second one. It was ok but still doesn't compare to the first.
Showtime/Cost: 3:00pm matinee 7/20 at $5.50/ticket

Movie: The Others
My Choice?: Yeah, and actually, I saw it twice. It wasn't bad and I picked up a few things the second time around.
Showtime/Cost: 3:15pm matinee 8/13 at $4.50/ticket, 8:15 8/20 at $8.50

Movie: Joy Ride
My Choice?: Not really, looked stupid in the coming attractions but I ended up liking it.
Showtime/Cost: 9:05pm 10/05 at $8.75/ticket (well, at least they're consistent in ripping you off)

Movie: Oceans 11
My Choice?: No, I was out-voted. Even though it's not my type of movie, I didn't think it was too bad.
Showtime/Cost: 3:40pm matinee 1/04 at $5.50/ticket

Ticket Stubs from United Artists Theaters (there are 3 locations)

Movie: City of Angels
My Choice?: Nope, once again I was out-voted. But I didn't mind this one either. Not my type of movie but this is an exception.
Showtime/Cost: 5:00pm matinee 4/24/98 at $4.25/ticket

Movie: Big Hit
My Choice?: No, saw it with my brother and his friends. Wasn't bad but probably wouldn't be considered great either.
Showtime/Cost: 9:40pm 4/25/98 at $7.50/ticket

Movie: Varsity Blues
My Choice?: Nah, but it was the only halfway decent movie out at the time.
Showtime/Cost: 2:30pm matinee 1/27/99 at $5.00/ticket

Movie: She's All That
My Choice?: !!WARNING!! Major "chick flick." Naturally, not my choice. The only major attraction to this movie was the guys.
Showtime/Cost: 4:30pm matinee 2/05/99 at $5.00/ticket

Movie: The Beach
My Choice?: !!WARNING!!CHICK FLICK!!LEO FLICK!! I hated this movie sooooo much but I was out-voted on it so what can I do. And I hate Leonardo DiCaprio...what does everyone see that I don't?
Showtime/Cost: 1:50pm matinee 2/29/99 at $5.00/ticket

Movie: The Rage: C2 (Carrie 2)
My Choice?: Looked like the only scary/disturbing/gory movie out at the time. I never even saw the first Carrie.
Showtime/Cost: 4:40pm matinee 3/12/99 at $5.00/ticket

Movie: Forces of Nature
My Choice?: !!WARNING!! Major "chick flick" alert once again. Definitely not my choice but there were no good movies out at the time.
Showtime/Cost: 2:20pm matinee 4/02/99 at $5.00/ticket

Movie: Scary Movie 2
My Choice?: Yeah, it looked funny but it wasn't. The first was much better...seemed like they were just trying too hard in the sequel.
Showtime/Cost: 8:15pm 7/14/00 at $8.25/ticket

Movie: X-Men
My Choice?: Finally, a movie I wanted to see! I just wish I could've seen X-men 2 but nooooooo, everyone had to be busy or see it without me...still pissed off about it, too.
Showtime/Cost: 4:45pm matinee 7/20/00 at $5.25/ticket

Movie: Valentine
My Choice?: Yeah, but it really wasn't very scary. And I don't like Denise Richards...she can't act and she just has "bitch" written all over her face.
Showtime/Cost: 3:15pm matinee 2/09/01 at $5.25/ticket

Movie: Insomnia
My Choice?: Yeah, and I liked it but my mom thought it was slow moving. It was interesting for a movie that I wouldn't normally see.
Showtime/Cost: 1:55pm matinee 5/24/02 at $5.50/ticket (oh, this is too funny...where it normally says "matinee" it says "bargain"...bargain my ass, it cost me $5.50!)

Movie: The Ring
My Choice?: Yeah, this looked good, and I was right. I would like to see the original Japanese version, Ringu, since The Ring was a remake.
Showtime/Cost: 9:45pm 11/08/02 at $9.25/ticket

Movies I Know I've Seen and Can't Find/Read the Stub:
Clueless (soooooo didn't want to see this movie but I was out-voted)
Anaconda
Some movie with these weird looking guys representing 4 elements in some forest (yeah, great description, huh, but it was all I could come up with since I didn't even want to see it anyway but they wouldn't let us into the South Park movie because we were under age)
Lethal Weapon 4
I'm sure there were others, I just don't remember them all.
