Qormi HC retain Emma Housley Challenge

Qormi has retained the Emma Housley Challenge Under 14 for the 3rd consecutive year.  The Under 14 section of the Challenge tournament has always been won by the Qormi club. The Under 14 team dominated the tournament beating Qormi's Under 12s 4-1 & 2-0 and Sliema Hs 4-1.

Qormi scorers 1st round: C.Sammut 2, L.Brincat, T.DeGiovanni, C.Mifsud.

After losing both 1st round games by a 4-1 scoreline the Qormi Under 12 team made an impressive 2nd round display and even managed to beat Hotsticks Under 14 team (3-2) with 2 goals from Kyle Micallef and another one from Glen Bonello.

With 5 goals Charlo Sammut finished up Tournament top scorer, followed by runners up Kyle Micallef (QormiU12) and Steve Portelli (Sliema Hs) with 4 goals each.

The Under 16 Emma Housley Challenge 3 will be played at the Qormi Hockey Complex on the 30th of November.
