| Sunday 23.7 We met our group and our leader at the airport at 6.10am. To London arrived we in time, but we had to wait the bus. The bus took us to the hostel, but we got only two rooms there, and we put our luggage to those rooms and after that we met our local leader, Aaron. And then we went to eat. Me, Tanja and Sohvi went to the McDonalds. After that we went to London Bridge, by subway. And we went to London Dungeon. It was fine and interesting, although almost the same, when I was there few years ago. After London Dungeon we went to shopping. Around 9pm we went to the London Eye. We took many pictures from London Eye, because the views were beautiful from up there. After that we went to back to the hostel and got the rooms. I sleep in the same room with two girls, Tanja and Veera and four boys Toni, Henrik, Ruben and Topias. Also our local leader Aaron sleeps in the same room with us. After that we three girls talked a lot about Aaron, because he looked so funny when he was sleeping. Sorry Aaron, but you just looked so strange! Your arms were twisted and your face was pursing (<--if that is right word.. I'm not sure what the right word is for that.)Aaron is a very nice leader. He is young (20 years old) and he is happy, and always smiling. He speaks good English, so it is easy to understand him. He will go to New Zealand next year, to the pilot training. Monday 24.7 I woke up at eight o'clock and after that was the breakfast. It wasn't very good breakfast... After that we went to the Hard Rock Cafe and Buckingham Palace. We ate our lunch in the park and after that we went to Piccadilly Circus. I, Sohvi and Tanja started to walk to Oxford Street and we went to the toyshop, Hamleys and many other shops. I bought few postcards and one cd. After few hours shopping we went to back to the hostel and left everything what we have bought there. We went to watch a movie called Stormbreaker. It was quite boring agent thing. After that we went back to the hostel and sleep. Tuesday 25.7 I woke up around half past seven and after breakfast we had to choose, wax museum, 3D movie, shopping or museum. I and two other girls have already been in wax museum so we went to the 3D movie. Also 5 Estonian boys came to watch that movie with us. It was really bad movie about life in sea, only good thing in that movie was Johnny Depp, his voice was in the movie. After that movie those boys wanted to go to Oxford Street and they went there and we three girl went to see King's Cross and that platform where Harry Potter always goes to Hogwarts. We tried to call to our leaders but our mobiles didn't work. We tried to go back to the hostel, but we went to the wrong subway. We came back with next subway, but some how also that was wrong. And we were quite lost until we found to Baker Street's station and from there we found the right subway to Bayswater, to our hostel. We took our luggage and left by bus to Torquay. We had one short break and we were early in Torquay, so our host families weren't there yet. My host family arrived and we drove home. They showed me the school and the bus stops. My family is very nice and lovely. I just love them! Gill, Charles and their 7 years old daughter Hannah. Before I went to sleep I talked with my family. I have amazing family! Wednesday 26.7 I woke up around seven o'clock. For breakfast I had cereals, tea and juice. At eight o'clock Gill and Hannah took me to the bus stop. I arrived to the school 15 to 9 and 9 o'clock our leaders took us to the classrooms. We had a test which was quite easy. The school ended 12 o'clock and then we had town walk. Leaders showed us important places, like Clock tower, the disco, and the beach. And safe McDonalds. We have to go there if we have some kind of problems and some EF leader will come there. We went to sit to park and talk. 4 o'clock I went to my host family and 5 o'clock we had dinner. After dinner I went to the town and I met our group in front of the disco. It was a foam party. We all got wet. It was funny to hear a Finnish band in English disco. Lordi - Hard Rock Hallelujah. "The biggest hit" was YMCA. Everyone was dancing, and leaders were dancing on the table. It was funny song (what came every night, and always people were dancing and smiling when it came.) I was at home around eleven o'clock and EF student from Switzerland has come. I talked with her and after that we went to sleep. |
