| Thursday 27.7 I woke up seven o'clock with Swiss student, Michelle. We went to the breakfast and eight o'clock we left home and went to the school by bus. At school our group did presentations. I did that presentation with Tanja and we did that about London Eye. We had a break and then we ate lunch what host family had made. I had two rolls and an apple, a muffin and juice. After the break we played games, like hang man. After school I went to the host family, got my towel and then we went to the beach with our group. We swam and just relaxed and after that we went to the host families and ate dinner. Again food was very good, just like every day. After dinner we went to the disco. Today it was a normal disco, no foam. But again it was very strange to hear a Finnish band there. Tonight it was The Rasmus - In The Shadows. Before disco leaders told us our international groups. I'm in the group called Zeus. I was at home around 10pm. Friday 28.7 I woke up half past seven and school starts half past eight. After the breakfast I and Michelle went to the school. We were really early at school. Today we will start to study with that international group. Leaders of my group are still Jaana and Aaron. At school first lesson our teacher was Paul. We played games and get to know each other. After that was a break and we ate lunch. After the break we had another lesson and our teacher was Kelli. She has been also a teacher of our Finnish group, before we started to study in international groups. After school we went to home, eat dinner. And then we went to town with friends. Just walking around and talking. I was home around 11pm. Saturday 29.7 I woke up 15 to 7 and went to the breakfast with Michelle. After the breakfast host family took us to the coach station and coach to Stonehenge left 8.30am. Jaana didn't come with us, so at first our group had problems with that, because other leaders said that we need our own leader if we want to come to Stonehenge. But after all, we went to the Stonehenge. Stonehenge was okay. Quite beautiful place. There were many people. I took a lot of photos there and I bought a magnet. After Stonehenge we went to Salisbury. I bought a skirt there. After that we came back to Torquay. Tonight we don't have any activities and my host family was in parties so me and Michelle stayed at home and start to watch movie called The Others. Michelle's parents came (they were on holiday in England at the same time) and Michelle went with them, and I watched that movie and when it ended I start to watch Lilo and Stitch. Host family came home around 10.30pm and Michelle came 11pm. Sunday 30. 7 I woke up 8.30am and went to the breakfast. After that I and Michelle played with Hannah. Then we went to the school and met the others there at 11am. We went to some park and there was the Looney Olympics. After the Olympics I, Tanja and Veera went to shopping. I bought 3 tops. Then I went home and my family had BBQ party. And there were their (my host family's) sisters, brother, parents, children. And they told me and Michelle who is who, but we didn't talk much with them. We ate and then we went back to the town. I met Veera and Tanja there. I bought painting by numbers thing. I and Veera were almost half an hour in that shop. We walked at the beach. There were beautiful lights and we took a lot of photos there. And then some Portuguese boy came and asked, if he could take photos about us. We just laughed and laughed. I guess we were quite tired. Tanja felt cold and she said that we could jump, so it wouldn't be so cold. And then I said we could do that: YMCA. And then we all just start to laugh and all the people were watching us, just like we would be some kind of psychos. Monday 31.7 I woke up 15 past seven and went to the breakfast. The school started at nine o'clock. Today we got our school books. I'm in level 4 (5 is the best). In lessons we talked about fears, phobias and movies. We had to write own movie. After school we had a Cockington Village excursion. It was a beautiful place, especially the small footpath there. It looked like jungle and there were lianas in the trees. In Cockington there was glass making and blacksmith. But we left soon, because it was raining so heavily. After that I went to the host family, to the dinner. And again the food was amazing! In the evening we went to the Megazone. We shot each others with laser guns. It was really great fun! ("Great fun" <-- Just like Aaron says) Aaron came always to our side and we ALL shot him. I was quite bad at shooting, but still, it was great. After that I went home and I was home already at ten o'clock. |
