After the lunch, Pei Han changed into this sexy outfit!
The seated women are friends and students of mine. Linda, in white, is my Taiwanese sister, and Anny and Alice have been my students for 8 years.
Handing out red envelopes to the children who would play music for us later. I gave red envelopes to all the people who helped us during the wedding, from the drivers of the six cars to Pei Jun and Sue who helped us with the red envelope collection, to Jia Shing and our flower girl and groom's boy.
Five of my Grade 5 and Grade 6 elementary school students playing Pachebel's "Canon", one of my favourite pieces of music. Jon, Joseph and Gina are playing the violins, Mary on the cello and Loren on the piano. I have taught all of them since they were in the senior kindergarten class.
Jon and Gina played a second piece for us.
Lily, a Grade 9 student whom I have been teaching for 7 years, played three romantic tunes for us on her viola. Her playing was remarkable!
Janice, another Grade 9 student whom I have been teaching for 7 years played two piano pieces for us. Her specialty is the oboe, but she was truly amazing on the piano!
Then came the moment I think everybody had been waiting for, Pei Han and I dancing the waltz. Dancing is not a feature of Taiwanese weddings, but I wanted to dance with my bride and so we put on a show for our guests. We had practiced every Monday night for about two months and, as I hope these pictures will show, did an amazing job of it!! Pei Han's shoe came loose near the end of the dance, but she somehow managed to keep it on and we finished perfectly.
My dance teacher, Yi Ru (in red), and two other friends, Yi Ting and Crystal, did two belly dances. People were entranced by the style and seductiveness of the dances!

With the shows over and in true Taiwanese fashion, Pei Han and I went to each table to thank our guests for coming. We were accompanied in this task by our respective families.
One of my students, Annie (taking the picture on her cell phone) wanted a picture of Pei Han and I kissing, so I eagerly obliged!
