BACKGROUND:	Leon was born in New Orleans Earth, where he grew up. When he was 7, his parents were killed by an unknown assailent who phasered them to death. He lived on the streets of his birth city for 2 years, until he was taken in by a visiting Bajoran. He lived on Bajor for less than a year, when he ran off from his adopted home. Stowing away on board a Klingon transport, Leon was found by a Klingon boy, and a fight ensued. Before the crew of the transport could break the fight up, Leon had broken the others left arm, right thigh bone, crushed the boys left hand and foot and broken his jaw. Leons entire right hand had been crushed, and his right arm was rendered useless due to a knife cut that had nearly severed his arm apart. The captain realized that Leon was a natural fighter and took the human under his wings for several years. When he turned 15, though, the Klingon set Leon on a Federation starbase and said farewell. For the following 2 years, Leon was constantly getting into trouble due to his lawlessness and was sent back to Earth by the station commander. Living in a low security penal colony in New Zealand, Leon came to like Starfleet, and when his inmate review came he asked to join Starfleet. Leons request was accepted, and he was admitted into Starfleet academy on behalf of the penal colony warden. Most of his academy time was uneventful, until hs graduation. Shortly after graduating, Leon and several of his friends were attacked by a Nassascan. 2 of his friends were deathly injured, and the other was placed in a hospitol. Leon fought the Nassascan to a standstill in the streets of San Fransico, watched by Starfleet officers and civilians. He was reprimanded lightly for the fight, and given strict orders not to do such a thing again. Details of this officer's Starfleet service record is resricted to Level 5 Security Clearence or higher.
MEDICAL-HISTORY:	Crushed hand and severely sliced arms during fight with Klingon boy. Multiple injuries recieved during fight with Nassacan on Earth. Multiple internal injuries and broken bones during V'Lem incident. Knee dislocated twice. Injuries were severe enough that he was not released form sickbay for some time. Minor injuries and phasered by Starfleet officer during mirror Avalon incident.
