| STANCES | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1) Horse Stance: fists at side, turned up, set at bottom of rib cage, elbows tucked, feet even and straight forward, more than shoulder length apart with knees bent. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2) Half Moon Stance: feet staggered, toe to heel. Keep good posture and a wide but stable stance. Don't bend forward, and remember to slide your feet together and then out to the next step. You should not hear a step. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| STRIKES | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2) Front 2-Knuckle Punch: keep a slight bend in your elbow as you throw a punch towad the space under the nose (filtrum). Keep a straight line from the back of hand to the elbow to support the wrist. Strike with 2rd and 3rd knuckles. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2) Back-2-Knuckle Punch: drive you fist as if going under someone's chin. Keep elbow slightly bent, and there should be a straigh line from the back side of your hand to your elbow--to support the wrist. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3) Thurst Punch: turn fist into a hammer position. Aim for bottom of rib cage, still striking with 2nd and 3rd knuckles. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| KICKS | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1) Front Ball Kick: front snap kick with foot flexed upward so the ball of the foot strikes the target. Remember to curl toes upward. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2) Front Instep Kick: front snap kick with foot flat and bent forward--like hitting with laces of a sneaker. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3) Back Kick: straight back, foot flexed, striking with the heel, and and aim for the knee, shin or top of the foot. Always look behind you first.Keep your legs close together--you should feel your knees touch as your kicking. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| JUJITSU | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1) Wrist Grab: spread fingers, turn hands up, spring them upward and back while stepping back with right foot. Front instep kick to the groin. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2) Front Choke: poison thumbs, break choke with crossing ridge hands.Use back muscles to pull away--don't step back, double knife hands to collar bones, drag down the front of chest, and step into a thrust punch to ribs like a train (circular motion). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3) Back Choke: back kick to right foot, step around their right leg, wrapping their arms with your left arm, keep hand in a stop position to lock them. Thrust punch to kidneys. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| KEMPO | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| #1 White Belt Kempo: left outside block (like an ice-cream scoop just under your eyes) , then 3 punches to the filtrum, sternum, and groin--don't step. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| #2 White Belt Kempo: right inside block into horse riding stance. Follow up with a hammer upward to the groin. Stand up while driving a back 2 knuckle punch into chin. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| #3 White Belt Kempo: same as #2, then step around with right foot behind their left, so that they're off balance. Elbow strike ot the sternum while stepping around his left leg to put him off balance. Then, hammer strike to the groin. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| #4 White Belt Kempo: left palm block, slide up with right back 2-knuckle to the temple, right hammer through the ribs, clockwise circle to hammer strike to groin. Remember to keep pressure on the shoulder to keep them from striking again. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
