Aside from a few snowy pics from our tobogganing expedition up on Cypress (North Vancouver),
most of these photos are from our ten day holiday trip to California in February/March.
I didn't take enough photos, a lot more went on than is shown here.
The main purpose of the California trip was a Barry family reunion, for Granny Rose's birthday. It had been quite a
while since David, Robyn and Bronwyn were all together! Probably a bit confusing for Tim and Megan
to meet their Aunties again, as they had already been introduced to so many "aunties" in the previous
holiday trip.
The holiday was a lot of fun though. We had gorgeous weather, and made sure to do many fun activities.
It was not easy to find playgrounds in San Francisco/Oakland (doesn't seem child-friendly), but we managed.
And we did make sure to go on many train rides, especially for Tim. He was keen to either stay there or
come back again. (Likewise for San Diego, on the second part of our California trip). Of course,
with the hotel rooms and different routines, both kids and parents were tired and happy to go home by the end.
As you can tell, the kids are fine and are quite used to flying around all over the world by now.
More pics from the San Francisco/San Diego holiday added on July 6.
