| Being that this is the first entry I can easily conceive that it would be one of the longest or fullest in content. With the birth of this Journal comes the dawning of a new era in my personal life. The beginning of this era has been somewhat in the making for several months, but only now have I felt the Importance of recording the events of it. Although this is a personal journal, I hope and pray that the lessons learned, the mistakes made and the experiences lived may be of benefit to anyone who should read of its pages. In the event that anything should happen to me, it is my fondest desire that this journal be given to my dearest and most cherished friend, Allen C. Winco jr., to whom I owe the beginning of the aforementioned new era. For without his influence, I may never have seen the truth and been led to the path of spiritual salvation. To him and God, I give my sincerest love and appreciation. I also fully realize the importance that all people and events have had on the aspects of my development, both spiritually and intellectually. These too I hold in high regard. The good along with the bad. For without such I would and could not be a whole individual. The good for shaping the desires and happiness attainable by them, and the bad for serving as the lessons for appreciating and the obstacles for a sense of accomplishment of those goals. Most of all, I want to thank God for bringing me to the point of realizing that life is for the living and that harmony can be achieved through a life lived for him. That everything has a purpose, no matter how obscure it may be to us as humans. I also thank him for allowing me to see and comprehend the beauty of all things and the possibilities of all people. In content, this journal may not be kept on a day to day basis, but I pray that all experiences of relevance will be recorded. Also I hope that it will serve as a constant reminder that this and all life has meaning and should be lived to the fullest. In God I shall always trust. Fin.~ |
