You know, I thought about tearing down my original anime page and rebuilding it. I was reading it, and I thought, geez, these are thoughts from so long ago. It's almost embarrassing. Yet part of me is attached to it. Oh well, so here's a supplementary page about anime, mostly just me going on and on about it. If you are bored, go ahead and read it.

KOR
(Hey, it's
my favorite. Did you really think I would stop talking about it?)
So finally,
I saw the ending, episode 47 and 48. (Read
what I wrote on the other page...) That was March 2001. You would
have thought it wouldn't take me that long to get to it. Actually,
I would have thought that it wouldn't take me that long to get to it, but
it did. I wouldn't even tell you how many years has elapsed.
(Of course I wouldn't stop you from looking for information about when
it was first released and doing the math.) Whatever effort it took
to see those 2 episodes was worth it. Yup.
Anyway, here
are some of my mental notes regarding Madoka Ayukawa.
--Madoka sings.
(I forgot whether it was in the series or one of the OVA's. I think
it was the series... She was in a band and had to substitute for the singer
in the group.)
--Madoka plays
the keyboard/piano.
--Madoka has
long hair.
Touch
Well, it really
isn't much, but I found this Winamp skin and I'm excited. (Told you
it isn't much...)
Grave of the
Fireflies--
The other
day I was looking through a box in my drawer and you probably wouldn't
have guessed what I found -- the movie ticket stub to Grave of the Fireflies.
That movie stub is so old. It was quite well preserved actually.
Laputa--
I saw this
movie in the movie theatre twice. The first time I went with my friends.
The second time I asked my mom to take my little brother and I to see it.
It was just such a beautiful movie. The drawing and some of the music
themes from the movie just made an unforgettable impression on me.
Now that I think about it, I saw a lot of the Miyazaki movies in the theatre
at least once... Laputa, Nausicaa, Grave of the Fireflies, Totoro, Princess
Mononoke...
Akira--
This was a
couple of weekends ago. I have the TV on. It was showing the
Ebert and Roeper show, and they were talking about Akira. I thought
that was pretty strange. I certainly didn't expect them to be talking
about an old anime movie. I think they were saying that Akira has
been re-mastered and re-released in selected cities. They emphasized
the fact that none of the drawings was computer graphics.
Fushigi Yuugi--
I'm working
on it... (what I wrote before...)
