The project was officially launched on 6 August 2002 when I, as the Project Director, conducted a briefing to recruit new members to form the Project Committee . 

We had our first meeting on 23 August and after 2 more meetings, we managed to launch a book collection drive within a month. 

Our results are a testimony to cohesiveness and functional efficiency of the project team.
