On Photography
This time I want to guide you to some interesting websites about photography.
First there's a new site, www.photomuse.org, created in collaboration by the George Eastman House and the International Center of Photography Alliance. Together they form one of the largest and finest photography-collections of the world, with works by the most outstanding artists, like Atget, Capa, Feininger, Stieglitz.
Another site with some classic photography is digitaljournalist.org, showing "100 Photographs that Changed the World", from the LIFE archives. Famous photographs you'll recognise immediately.
Finally the World Wide Panorama project with panorama-photography (Quicktime VR) from around the world, every three months a new theme,
the last one (June 2005) being 'water'. |
