| Il Segno Del Commandp This film is not very known, it isn't a film, it was a mini-series made in 1990, a franco-italian co-production. It's a very interesting thriller but with such a conventional ending. The story is about a Cambridge profesor, (Robert) who has found a mysterious diary written by Lord Byron while he was in Paris. So he's invited to Paris to give a lecture and he's followed by a mysterious girl who in fact is a phantom, well he's folowed by many girls in this film (hi, hi, but I'm sure that in the real life he's also followed by many girls!! hi hi). So he discovers that in the diary there's the key to find the to find the immortality and that's why everyone wants it. Also he discovers that he's the reincarnation of a painter, the lover of the ghost who follows him, and that he has to find the "commando", the jewel of the immortality before his 40th anniversary, otherwise he'll die. There's a wonderful plots in this film although the end is a litle bit dissapointing. You can see it for two reasons: one is Robert Powell, the other one is Robert Powell! he he, just kiding, the other reason is to see finally a film which shows beautiful and mysterious places in Paris other than the Eiffel tower!! *Written by Gisela Esparza* |
