May 25th,
2001- Under
the ownership of President Imran, the CAWF is opened up for
business.
June 2nd,
2001- The
CAWF held it's first TV show and crowned it's first champion,
Abdullah the Butcher who won the Hard to the Core Title. Tiger
Mask IV won the Lightweight Title.
June 8th,
2001-
President Imran steps down and Jonathan Scott takes over. They
put on their second Showtime on June 9th and Chris Benoit is
crowned the first ever CAWF World Champion. Humungous wins the
Canadian Championship for the first time. Following this card,
the Undertaker and the Rock were signed to CAWF contracts and
that's huge news for the CAWF.
