I'm Back News! (6.17.2001)

I just got back from Grand Forks and we've got a page update to make so here is the news for today and the weekend.

- A huge mistake was made the other day that I would like to apologize for. Bret Hart was hired by the Total Wrestling Federation and not the Hardcore Wrestling Champions. Sorry for any confusion that this might've caused. I am deeply sorry.

- On Friday Night, the OSWF set up their Monday Night Brawl House Show with many matches at their first ever house show. The European and Austrailan mini-tournament first rounds were held and Mike Rapada will take on Donovan Morgan for the Australian title on Monday and Dino Bambino will take on Adam Flash for the European Title. Shinjiro Otani and Shiima Nobunaga took it to each other in a grueling scaffold match and overall, a great card was held. Report should be up tomorrow.

- InsaneWF made a huge signing the other day when they signed Masato Tanaka.

- The fans are still waiting for the EHW show to get finished.

- The TWF put on an awesome show the other night at their first TWF Friday Night Fury. Bret Hart won the World Championship with help from the British Bulldog in a last man standing match over A-Wall. Also on the show, Miguel Perez won the Lightweight Title, the Jackal won the Intercontinental and Duke Droese won the Hardcore Title. An overall good card and the report will be up tomorrow.

- The Wrestling Training Camp has been cancelled due to lack of interest.

- The New Weekly Awards should be up tomorrow as well.

- The CAWF had another great Showtime card on Saturday Night. The Rock and the Undertaker, two new signings were on hand and the Undertaker won the Hard to the Core Title, only to lose it back to Earthquake later on in the night. The Rock earned the right to face Benoit for the World Title but was defeated. Also a surprise appearance by the EHW World Champion, Triple H. Full report should be up tomorrow.

- The OSWF also held their first Monday Night Brawl. Besides all of the great wrestling action, the show was pretty dull and just plain old school wrestling. Donovan Morgan, Dino Bambino and Able Atoms all walked out with belts and it was a good night of wrestling but we need some more storylines going on. Report should be up tomorrow.

- The InsaneWF put on their second Rage and it had the potential to be a great show but it was not a great show. The entire night was all battle royals and after a while, you just get sick of them. Still a good card and we saw Masato Tanaka win the InsaneWF World Championship and all the other titles decided but it still lacked the making of a great card. Report will be up tomorrow.
