Tons of News (6.11.2001)

Alright guys, lots of news here so be sure to check everything out.

- Old School Wrestling Federation has joined as our newest indy federation. Under control of Adam Burns, they hope to go back to the old school with old school wrestling. Their current roster is shaping up with up and coming stars such as Able Atoms, Ryan Wing and Donovan Morgan.

- The Total Wrestling Federation is starting off pretty good. Their roster is shaping up very nicely with the return of the Godfather, Gillberg, Duke Droese and Bart Gunn. This looks like it will be great!

- The World Pro Wrestling is also starting off great. They had a great show to start off the other day. Their roster features such stars as Dean Malenko, Stevie Richards and their first ever World Champion, Booker T! Congrats Booker and congrats WPW on their first show this past weekend. The report on this card will be posted in tomorrow night's update. (Look for nightly updates late at night.)

- The Wrestling Federation of the World is now on a 3 week break while Kent Jones plans his strategy for the upcoming months (OOC: He's actually taking time off for exams and that's ok if any of you also want to do that).

- Hardcore Wrestling Champions is looking to get started to and they've stacked their roster with Crash Holly, D-lo Brown, Billy Gunn and Shawn Stasiak. They look to have a bright future but the true question we should be asking is "Are these guys really hardcore?"

- The High Flying Wrestling is launching it's tour of Australia very shortly and what great way to start it off than with Kurt Angle joining the HFW and tomorrow night on Top Rope Tuesday, he will face Yoshihiro Tajiri with the vacant HFW World Championship on the line. This is a huge signing for the HFW and hopefully it pays off for them.

- Jonathan Scott, new Promoter of the CAWF put on an incredible show on the weekend to kick off his CAWF legacy. They posted the highest rating yet of a 1.35 and the entire report can be found on the results section. Congratulations to Chris Benoit who won the CAWF World Title on Saturday Night! After the card, Scott must've impressed a lot of people because he managed to convince the Rock to sign a CAWF contract so you will see the Rock in the CAWF for the next year to come.

- Earlier today, Lee Wilson resigned from the position of the head promoter in the InsaneWF and Corlan Witman has taken over. He has new plans to soar the IWF to new heights. He has implemented some new titles and is doing some roster cleanup and he has raised ticket prices. The fans see this as a welcome change and they hope that Corlan can help out the starting IWF.

- Some new rules have been added such as the wrestler auction. Also, everyone, the contracts are now being limited to under a year so please send me an email stating how much you're reducing all of your contracts to.

- Dave Kryschuk has joined our staff. He is the new creative control. He is the one that will be doing all the random events. If you'd like to see any random events happening, please email him at [email protected]. He will not be starting until later this week so get your ideas in.

- Anybody interested in running the calendar and arena booking? Please email me.

- Is there anyone out there that can make small 150 by 150 logos for all the feds on the main page? If you can, please email me at [email protected]

That's all the news for today, talk to you all tomorrow.
