Well, another minishow has come and gone at CMA. It went smoothly, as most do, but it was a bit slow. I have a few more lines now, with the addition of a jewlery line and a bookmark line I now have 35 manufactures in my departments. Good times.

OPINIONS
So what is art?
To me it has always been an expression of inspiration; trying to make the invisible, visible. This expression manifests itself in all different forms (painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, dance, performance, video, etc.)
And for me visual arts has to be more than creating work that just looks good. Although I appeciate the aesthetics, when the work has a deeper meaning (content beyond what can be seen at first glance) being expressed through it and consiously revealed to another...
that is art.
Why are we here?
Again this is only one humble man's opinoin. I believe we are put on this earth, that we exist, to love. And I don't mean the, "I really love this starbucks mocha frapachino" type love; I mean the care for, trusting, forgiving, give and take, put you before me type love. Yes, I know that sounds cliche but when you get right down to it, without that one element we are just surviving; and not really living.
which brings us to...
What is love?
love suffers long and is kind;
love does not envy; love does not
parade itself, is not puffed up;
does not behave rudely, does
not seek it's own, is not provoked,
thinks no evil;
does not rejoice in iniquity,
but rejoices in the truth;
bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things,
love never fails.
- 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
when someone else has said it best.
