This poetry section is the sole reason that I started this site. I had the indescribable urge to be criticized negatively, and if possible, positively for some of the rhymes and whatnot that I had written. To ease this desire, I spent a day or two learning basic HTML and designing the site offline. I started with a single poem and have been gradually adding more; although the first week averaged about one per day, I have since only added one (or, rarely, two) per week.

The poems I add may be old or new, but they are more than likely mediocre at best; which is too bad as I enjoy writing them. Assuming I ever attract enough visitors, or (even better, but much more unlikely) a couple of fans, I will perhaps add a sub-section for criticisms and comments (which you may email to me, if you are so inclined) from the readers. Even less likely (and by less likely, I mean improbable to the point of impossibility), but equally hoped for, is the prospect of eventually adding a reader/guest poetry section -- though, as the parenthesized message suggests, that is probably not going to happen.
