This clan offers a safe "no-risk" way for people to learn and try actual PK before they commit themselves to joining a PK clan. To join talk to a leader or type (pknew join). When you join, you will be a part of a special group of PKers in training. You will have a chance to go through a PK School (an area like mud school) that will teach you the basics of PK.
Then you can try it out by pking your fellow clan members or other PKers (without any risks to those other PKers). You can't be looted, nor can you loot anyone.
Your pk record can only be seen by you and only so that you can measure your own progress. Once you graduate, your record will be cleared and you will be free to choose a clan to join, or choose to remain clanless.
You can only join this clan while you are relatively young, so you can't join at a high level. Selected IMMs and distinguished mortal PKers may/will lead this clan. They, as well as any other IMM, can graduate PKnewbies at any time they think that the person is in the clan for wrong reasons, has already learned enough and can go on to the real thing, or if they have been in the clan too long, or reached a too high of a level.
All players can also graduate themselves (pknew graduate) when they feel ready to move on.

A cowled person stops in front of you and appears to give you a once over. Appearing to nod to itself, the person speaks in a melodious voice, "So, interested in the Bards are we, and well you should."
The person pauses for a moment then continues on, "Let me take a brief second to dispel a misconception or two you might have. We, Bards, are not minstrels and troubadours desiring to entertain you or others with song or verse, though with song and verse we may advise and/or teach. The desire to be somebody's gopher never crosses our minds. Nor do personal vendettas have a place outside of the arena or wars."
Looking pleased the person takes a sip from a decanter under its cloak and continues its dialogue, "So, now that we have dealt with the misconceptions let me tell you what the Bards are about and what we do. We are a clan of chroniclers and collectors. What do we collect? We collect knowledge, stories of past exploits, and tidings of current events. Why do we collect and chronicle these things, because if we do not who will. No one will remember the warriors of old, the battles, the quests, the loves, the defeats, the failures, the losses and doomed shall we be to repeat the past. To this end, we have committed ourselves to learn, remember, advise, and teach this knowledge to others. We do this by traveling the lands far and wide, listening to every story, investigating the facts of an event, learning from our peers within Bards, and from applying what we have learned and give advice and guidance to our peers within and without the clan."
Taking a deep breath and with a sense of sadness in its voice, "But this path is not for everyone. Who wishes to remember the past mistakes or the faults of their friends and companions? Who is willing to be truthful in all things no matter how small or large? Who wishes to remain impartial when the heart wishes otherwise? If still undaunted and desire to learn more please contact my associates, and express your interest."
Turning away the person walks away waving briefly before disappearing from sight.

What defines an action as good or evil? It is normally based on the mores and laws of society...and if that society is evil or corrupt, what then? True combat has been wasting away, while corruption strikes across the realm. A guild devoted to balance and the greater good, Forsaken openly opposes active evil. Formed of people with their own unique skills and talents, people work as a unified force, while following their own passions. By contributing our own unique style of socializing, management and fighting, everyone will learn to trust and respect each other, as well as honing their own style of combat.

From the waters we rose and to the waters we shall return. His Lordship, Sebian, brought all life from the waters to the lands. The day will come when the waters rise and the lands are no more. Only the Children of the Waves will live after the waters rise. Every living creature may be saved if they accept the Grand Lord Sebian as their personal savior. All heretics will suffer the wrath of the Water God, be it while still on land or when the waters rise. All members of Leviathan must offer redemption to any mortal before bringing about harm. All who accept redemption will be respected and assisted by all other members of the Church of Leviathan. Spreading the waters is encouraged, as you are thus spreading the domain of Sebian, the Holiest of Holies. Thus are the laws of the Church of Leviathan.

As darkness unfolds, the shadows deepen, and you feel the chill of the night air enfold you. Drunkenness, debauchery, thievery, and even murder, are the flavor of this evening -- as are they every evening! You move cautiously from shadow to shadow so as not to draw attention to yourself, seeking refuge and safety, food and warmth. The soldiers are about in force, as are those that are forsaken, and you shudder at the throught of a chance encounter with either, knowing it could mean the end to your meager existence or worse.
You dart quickly down a back alley towards the quiet and deeper darkness when suddenly a shadowy figure looms before you. You instinctively lunge into a defensive posture fearing the worst. "Be at ease", says the stranger, "you need not fear me." You remain ill at ease yet cock an ear towards this deeper shadow among shadows. "I am Keeper of the Rose." , She says, "You need no longer fear the darkness, nor lie in the shadows hungry and cold. Come, follow me if you will."
You are lead through many a back alley, then deep into the forests outside of town. Suddenly before you stands an old, seemingly abandoned shrine, yet you believe you see, or rather sense a blue aura emanating from it. The woman sits on a stump and peers at you seemingly attempting to assess your character. "We", she begins slowly, "the Clan of the Blue Rose, have long dedicate ourselves to the care and well-being of the Rose." She continues to bring back memories of childhood tales about a fabled Blue Rose. "Those that come to us and join our cause are much like you", she says, "the unwanted, overlooked denizens of the world. We give them camaraderie, family, and a place to call their own." She looks at you compassionately and continues.
"We believe that none should want for food and warmth, for safety and pride, that we should be more than simply un-noticed movement in the shadows. We can stand tall and proud amongst even the tallest, amongst even the Gods themselves, for we are all of one blood, all of one flesh." The woman stands, takes you by the arm and quickly ushers you inside. "All that we ask", she says, "is that you dedicate yourself to the Rose and spread the word to your yet unknown brethren still hidden among the shadows. Tell them that they have a home with us, that they have purpose and a destiny to fulfill."

A bartender walks up to you in his white shirt and dark pants. You see a name on his name tag reading Drinking Crew Bartender, George. He smiles at you and says,
So you think you have what it takes to be a part of this crew, do you? Well, maybe you should know a little bit about us first. We are a clan to promote drinking, partying, fun to the realm.
George rubs his chin while checking you out, then continues.
Some people do not agree with our way of life, and we find ourselves in a mess of fighting sometimes. Do not be afraid, because you are not alone. Many people are just like you, and like to party. We are not all about drinking and immiture stunts, we are killers, drunken killers if you must. Here is a list of rules for the Drinking Crew.
The man reaches into his pockets, retrieving a crumpled up paper and reads:
Each member who engages into any sort of violence is required to be intoxicated, unless they are attacked. Failure to do so will result in exile.
Each member is required to carry alcohol on them at ALL times! Running out is not an option, because we always like to be intoxicated.
Members shall be intoxicated at all times. Failure to do so will not result in a serious punishment, just a quick reminder, unless this occurs time and time again.
If any non-member asks for a drink, no matter who it is, you must give them some. We don't hold grudges, and if people wish to get drunk, more fun for us.
Being sober is a sin, and the clan will not like you if you are not intoxicated all the time.
George stuffs the paper back into his pocket and nods to you. "Hope to see you in the bar sometime." He walks down the street, and you watch him till he turns into an alley. You feel a sudden urge to drink. Do you have what it takes to join the Crew?

Alone in the night, you sit before the campfire - looking outwards for danger. Looking into the night sky you frown realizing there are no stars in the sky above. Surveying the area around the fire, you see there is but an empty blackness. The inky darkness swirls and a hooded figure steps forth. The smell of old blood permeates the air, and you ready yourself to fight the unknown demon.
She speaks, 'Calm yourself, young one. I have not come to kill you, indeed, quite the opposite.'
The hood falls back to reveal the face of a beautiful woman, with long black hair, and glowing white eyes. 'I am of the Void, and we have been watching you for some time,' she says.
Holding out her hand, 'Come, I wish to show you something.' Feeling at ease with her presence, you place your hand in hers, and she draws you into the Void. She directs your passage through the vast emptiness of the Void. She stops in an area looking no different than the one you left, but she nods to herself and releases your hand.
'Here we are... Now then young one. You have never heard of the Void, yet we have always been here.' Her hands raise, and the blackness warps, then shows a bird's eye view of a great battle is being fought. 'The invasion by the Drow hordes, not too long ago.' She indicates several figures standing at a distance from the battle in hooded robes.
'We have been there to watch every great happening among the realms, biding our time to come forth again. But times have grown dire, and the realm is no longer balanced. In places good outnumbers evil, and the reverse elsewhere, where before there was a steady neutrality.' Her head turns to look you in the eye, and you are filled with a feeling of rightness, and such a strong sense of being that you want to weep. 'That is what life used to be like, before those came that cast aside their emotions, and began living for the fight.'
She guides you back to where your campfire is before releasing your hand again. She says, as she disappears back into the inky darkness.'I will let you think on it, you are young yet. The Void will be watching if you need us.'

The Exiles of Phoenix are for those adventurers who don't wish to follow any clan guidlines yet still wish to be a pkiller. To become an Exile, you must be level 25 if you're first tier or level 15 if you're second tier and ask an Immortal level 109 or above to place you in Exile. Those people found leaving a clan, whether its a pkill clan or not, will be placed in Exile. We will however allow an Exile to join a clan.

Very little tangible evidence is known about the the Clan from the Shadows It is said that they are an exclusive clan, dedicated to secrecy, and sworn to alliance with the Darkness the embrace. They are seldom seen by any who are not among the chosen of Darkness. They talk very seldom outside of the Hall of Shadow's. If you wish to join the Clan of Shadow, and be evaluated for admittance contact the Leaders on line.

The Overseer's is the Non-PK Clan on this game. Its rules are to help all players regardless of clan affiliation, or status on the game. Jondular started this clan with this idea in mind, to help newbies and oldies =), if within the power of the characters ability. Here are some of the rules we live by:
1) No use of voodoo. that means casting the spell or having/using dolls
2) No summoning gate mobs to clan halls. Feel free to visit if invited, but don't bring trouble with you.
3) No spamming public channels. we take all general rules seriously, including that one
4) If you have directions to "hard to get" eq (wraths, oaths, etc) you can help other overseers (only) get them, but you can't get it for anyone, or tell people how to get it.
5) No helping people with violent flags. we can't interfere in PK fights, and that's how we tell

From a far away land of oppression we escaped, to a land of hope we settle. Little is known about the members of this clan, except that we were past slaves and servants of our ruthless masters. Now having been emancipated by our great hero Asyan, we come to rid the world of any who are the oppressers of the commmon. We are neutral by nature, but once provoked, we group together and fight for the brotherhood of our clan. We have been known to eat the flesh of others when hungry or devoid of food.
Asyan - Founder
Tanis - Leader
Note: This clan has joined Soothayers, and together they became Assassins.
You mission, should you choose to accept it, is to play practical jokes, gags, and general mischief across the face of Thera on Phoenix. To accomplish this goal, you will be given aid by your clanmates, and may employ any non-fatal means to do it. All classes and races are welcome, but high priority is given to thieves, druids, and rangers, as they have the best skills for playing jokes. We are in Phoenix to bring a sense of humor to those in other clans that take life too seriously. We are non-pk so nothing gets deadly. All we do is play harmless practical jokes on players using spells, items, or motes.

Chaos is the antithesis of order. Followers of Chaos do not believe in fate or destiny, excepting those they make for themselves. They believe in the right of the individual to do as he or she pleases, provided they are prepared to pay the consequences. Some fight for fun, some for revenge, some only in self defense, but this is a personal choice. Chaos is made up of the elite and future elite of the fighters of Phoenix. They are held together by a bond of mutual respect. Those who do not hold to this bond of respect will soon find themselves excommunicated, kliled, and left to rot where they fell.
