Drill four 1/8" holes equally spaced around the ABS cap about 3/8" away from the edge of the open end. In line with one of these holes, drill a 3/8" hole about 1" from the cap end. Stick the rubber feet on the closed end lined up with the 4 holes and as close to the rounded edge as possible while still on the flat portion of the cap.
Measure and mark the centre of the PVC cap, then drill a 1/8" hole in the middle. Using this hole as a pilot, drill a 3" opening using the hole saw. Test fit the driver (insert the wire in first!) and using it's mounting holes as guides, mark and drill 3/32" holes in the PVC cap. Screw the driver on to the cap.
Wrap at many loops of masking tape onto edge of the female end of the elbow as needed to for the ABS cap to fit very snugly over top. Some test fitting may be necessary.
After threading all the wire through first, press fit the PVC cap fully onto the male end of the elbow, taking care to level up the screws (for beauty). Now pull the wire through the 3/16" hole in the ABS cap right up to the knot.
Loosely roll up the flannel and stuff it into the elbow. Some will stick out past the elbow. Press fit the ABS cap over the elbow with an even 3/4" overlap, taking care to keep the same density of stuffing in the elbow as in the cap and lining up the wiring hole away from the driver face.
Drill four 1/8" holes in the elbow using the holes in the cap as a guide. Finish with screws in the holes to keep the cap from separating from the elbow. If necessary to keep the driver mount on the elbow, drill two 1/8" holes on the sides of the PVC cap about 1" from the front face and screw together.
Connect to amplifer copper (dark) to positive and silver (light) to negative. Enjoy.
