“The
only cow with the shade of purple”
by:
Yayin "Mel" De Quiros
We
don’t remember the exact date when the band was formed because honestly
speaking, they had a very hard time structuring it. But, we are quite
convinced that we have a small world and that is one way how they got
together.
They
got their name (Purple Cow) somewhere in another dimension. If you’re wondering how they came up with an eccentric cow’s shade,
frankly, we don’t even recall. We apologize.
During
those “not yet renowned” time, they played at private parties and soon
the band progressed and was offered to play at bars and accepted
reservations.
They
are inspired by the music of Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Santana, Doobie
Brothers, Eagles and to the more modern influences, Incubus, Red Hot Chili
Peppers, Tenacious D and so forth. They also write their own compositions
and perform cover songs from the said bands too.
To
wrap the bands history or whatever you may call it, the “cows” know
how to play their music well and they are certainly cohesive. They rock
and they absolutely roll! GET IT! Hehe!
