Dia's Lucky Numbers!

Please read the How To and Rules to this game carefully.
I am trying to host the best I can for all of you....and let me tell you, sometimes it is not so easy. I try to make this game as fair and random as possible. I realize that everyone wants a chance at an event prize. But please let's not forget that this is supposed to be fun for the host and players alike.
I only host Lucky Numbers for events.
And finally let me add, this game *IS* different from Beat The Odds!

Lucky Number is a game that is played with dice. Only 30 avatars can play, and there are 10 winners.

The host <Dia> runs a random Prize Draw Program.
Everyone in the turf will register, sending in this case a $ sign.
There will be 5 rounds. Each round there will be 6 people picked....RANDOMLY...using the prize draw program.
These 6 people will be asked to "Unghost quickly and walk to the number of their choice".
Most LN hosts have the numbers on snowballs...mine are on purple engravable hearts which will eventually have the numbers engraved on them.
After the 6 people who have been called pick a number, the host <Dia> will roll the dice...whichever number comes up is the winning number, therefore the avatar standing by that number is the winner!!

There will be 2 winners each round.
And you can only win *ONCE*....no matter how many players there are.

That is the basics...It is an easy game to play...and if ya get down you have a 2 in 6 chance of winning...believe me, the odds are better than u think! I have won many times in LN!!

These are the rules according to Dia. Please follow these rules while playing this game, if you, as a player follow the rules, the game will go much smoother for the players and host. Thank you <bow>

If you would like to host the game yourself, please let me know and I will open the floor for you to host, otherwise, I am the host. <G>

You can only win ONCE...whether there are 30 people or not. If there are 30 or more people on the list you WILL NOT be called to play again.

**Please stay ghosted until your name is called, people who unghost will be booted from the turf and deleted from the list.**

If you have to leave for whatever reason during the game....PLEASE ESP ME AND LET ME KNOW! I cannot stress this enough!! If you don't it slows the game down, and generally makes the host crabby...lol

NO ALTS are allowed!
The use of alts at games is NOT FAIR to the other players.

Any questions can be ESPed to Dia during the game.
But....whining is NOT appreciated.

I do not control who is called, or what number is rolled or even what box is picked. So if someone I know wins....that is up to TPTB, Not me.

Since the new rule has become effective to keep games outside, 60% of games MUST be held outside. I am letting hosts know that I wish to host my game inside still, however have told them that I will host outside if needed.

ANYONE WHO DISRUPTS will be DELETED and an ACO will be notified if necessary.
I will not tolerate Disruptions!

Prizes will be in COLORED Boxes...You will pick the COLOR.
Prizes will still be mixed as stated below.

When the game is hosted in an outside Locale I *WILL* be handing out prizes between rounds.

This one is important:
I WILL BE CLOSING THE LIST AFTER the Registration of the 2nd round.

All 10 Prizes will either be glued to the wall in the Prize Room. Prizes will now be distributed AT THE END of all 5 rounds, instead of between rounds. After the round has been played and we have 2 winners, I will ask the winners to pick a COLOR using one of the box caller programs. I will record who has picked which color. After all 5 rounds have been played I will open up the prize room. Starting with the 1st winner in the 1st round, I will distribute the prizes. The Prizes are going to be glued to the wall UNDER a globe that is the same color as one of the 10 colored boxes. Event prizes may not *always* be glued to wall. Depending on size, I may just glue a number corresponding to which place the prize is. 1 for 1st place, 2 for 2nd place and 3 for 3rd place. In these case the prizes will be in my pocket and I will just hand them to the winners. Please see the picture below for an example.

If you had picked Blue you would win the 2nd Place event prize. Red would win the sash, pink the glasses, orange would win the box, yellow the hat, Green would win the bear, White would win the kitty, black would get 1st place, purple the raven, and Aqua would win 3rd place.

Some names of the Globes differ from the names of the boxes. Use the table below for clarification.

There of course will be event DP's in there too...this was just an example to show how it would look. This change started 7/1/00.

As far as SECURITY with items glued to a wall.
The room will have 1 avatar allowed, meaning I will need to ghost for the winners. I will unglue the item when the winner is down and they can go and grab it. Unless I poof and the winner poofs, there shouldn't be a problem with theft. I will have something in my hand in case an incident occurs, and I have been GK trained in cuffing :)

If you are a WINNER and have poofed or have to leave before I have given the prizes out, I *will* hold your prize for you, IN NO CASE will I give out a prize before all rounds have been completed.

As always prizes consist of the 3 main Event prizes, 3 event DP's, and 4 aco prizes.
I do not to a draw for the event DP's...they will still be mixed in with the other prizes.

I am hoping that this be a fun game for everyone who plays...and like I said above, even if there are 50 people in the turf, only 30 can play.

Only 30 people's names may be called to come down and play the game. That does *NOT* mean that once I have 30 players I lock the turf. That means that if 50 or 60 or even more people come to play, then only 30 of them will get called to pick a number. This is the same if less people come to play. If I only have 15 people then some people *will* get called more then once to pick a number. This is the same as the Prize draw concept, 100 people register and only 10 or 13 win <shrug>.
There is usually more than one game in a time slot. If you do not like how I host or how the game is played, you are welcome to join another game :)

The Turf will *not* be locked anymore after the regs are closed. Too many people were poofing and getting upset, so I stopped locking the turf.

Registrations *WILL* be closed after the 2nd round and I WILL not be taking anymore regs. If you come into the turf, and enter the game room and the locale name is "Game Room! REGs CLOSED" or something similar...then the regs are closed...bottom line.

1st of all...poof happens <shrug> there is nothing you nor I can do about it...but if you should happen to poof during the game then come on back up! :)

I stopped locking the turf, so unless I had an unruly player...It shouldn't be locked.

One last note: I get a lot of ESPs throughout the game. I am not complaining...I like them...even the Mis-Esps...LOL... I *may* miss an ESP here or there...so please...just be patient. I realize you want to win the prize..and I realize that half of you are hoping I will hurry so that you all can leave and make it to the end of the bingo game that is scheduled the same time as my game... but please...be nice to me, if it weren't for the hosts, you would not ever get any prizes. We do this for you...PLEASE keep this is mind...all I get out of hosting is a DP, and as you can see in my prize room, I already have tonz of em so what do I need with one more...lol
