Febuary 1st, 2001 - 8:24pm - 2nd entry did i say something about a bright future? how do i put this. this is soooo weird. but you know, i've been saying it to myself and my boyfriend. so i guess i'm not in complete shock. but i am shocked. i mean, me, of all people. no one will believe it. i tried calling a couple of my friends. they weren't home. my boyfriend is at work. he doesn't know yet either. it really is weird. but maybe i knew it was coming on some level? (just look at my first few entries, conveniently located below this one. or my old journals, off my old site). so why didn't i prepare. believe me, i'm not prepared. not in the least. just this afternoon, i was talking to the receptionist and she commented on my living alone. she said how she bets it's expensive. i said, no kidding. wow... i think i'm okay. but we'll know better in about a month's time. if something hasn't happened then...

oh... by the way. i was fired today.

Febuary 1st, 2001 - 2:31pm - 1st entry remote entry (ie. written with pen on paper at work) - bathroom stall at work. it's not as weird as it seems. ok, ya, maybe. but i needed to take a break and had no where else to go. i need to write some of what's floating around in my head. so many ideas. i'm the type of person, that, when ideas start coming. they come. i can't sleep. i have to keep getting up to write down ideas, 'til i exhaust myself. in the past, i haven't really acted on them. sad. good ideas gone to waste. but the future bodes bright. i have lots of stuff i'll be adding to my page this evening. (another sleepless night - design is addictive.) i went to glassdog's new improved site, from which i portaled (is that a word?)(i looked it up, 'portal' is a noun only.) to harrumph. also found out about 'the bloggies' and found a canadian site (which i am) pith and vinegar there, which has a webring, which i may join.

i may get to design a site for someone else. this could be the start of something. okay - gotta get off the potty and back to work.
