Raise the Dead
Chapter 3: Dumah, Rahab, Zephon and Melchiah....

“Welcome back,” Vorador said. “Now you can talk some sense into your eldest’s head.”

Kain leaned against the wall, one eyebrow raised in light confusion. “What has he done?”

“Ever since you left he’s been pacing around, arguing the moral side of our very livelyhood and has refused to feed for hte past couple days. He is rapidly becoming ill and still refuses.”

Kain shook his head. “I was afraid of that. He argued during that hunt the morals of feeding, even upon the lowest and easiest prey.”

“Another one of those,” Voirador said, a sourness to his voice. “If you plan on keeping him, I suggest you straighten him around. I’ve long grown sick of fighting with ones such as him. He’ll either starve himself to death or fall prey to vampire hunters.”

Kain nodded. “I will do so soon.” He reaached over and cuffed the young vampire’s shoulder. “Introduce yourself.”

The youngling looked at him confused, then to the tall, deep green skinned man. “D-Dumah sir.”

“And that is Vorador. You will be staying here with him until I return. I have to leave again.”

“So soon?” Vorador asked. “I suggest you talk to the boy and rest. You are obviously exausted.”

“I have to...the hunters have been in that area, most likely tracking me. And the other three are-”

“No. I cannot allow you to throw your life away like this. Stay, rest. I’m sure three can be a sufficient start on that silly dream of an Empire you have. If you leave, you could kill yourself raising them.”

“It is a risk I must take. There six then, and so shall there be now.” Kain laughed weakly. “Can you not fathom the irony should I succeed?”

“Irony, yes. Without you I will have three hungary fledglings on my hands. You know what has been happening to me. I would not be able to support them and myself.”

“Yes...I still must go.”

“Please don’t be this foolish...”

“I must...”

Vorador shook his head and turned, walking away. He looked up and something caught his eye. Rasiel stood in the doorway, having already started to look ill in just a few days without feeding. “Go...go with him...”

“He damned me...”

“And the only one who can save the both of you is each other...”

“He damned me....”

“He saved you. Now it’s your turn to do the same with him. Go with him. I believe the both of you need to talk.”

“I have nothing to say to him...”

“You will...go before it’s too late.”

“But-”

“Before you have no sire and are left along in this curel world. Go now!” Vorador pointed to the door, where Kain had left though alone. Behind Raziel was Turel, the older one leaning against his just younger brother.

Raziel jumped, nodding and relenting. He carefully followed. Turel looked at him questioningly. “S-sir?”

“Yes?” His tone had substancially cooled when he turned to the other fledgling.

“Sir...they are weak like you said...”

“Yes...there is little you can do. Sadly, if they perish, there is little I can do. I can fend for the two of you, but I cannot three. If they return...”

Turel nodded. “It would be...difficult...”

“Yes.”

“I’ll go.”

The both of them turned to the newly risen Dumah. “You can’t possibly go. You’ve just risen.”

“I won’t stand idly while my father goes into danger. I will go. Arm me and I will see that he returns.”

“You’re as foolish as he is,” Vorador said, shaking his head.

“I maybe foolish, but I will never be a coward. Arm me, or I shall go as I am now and be even more foolish.”

“Down the hallway and to the right. There is a closet with a few piecces of armory in it. Take whatever with you.”

“Good. Thank you.” He gave a respectful half bow and turned to leave.

“Foolish...all of them...”

“You sent Raziel..”

“I know. But you seen me reason with him. Kain is the only one who can. He is as thick as his father.” He paused, looking off into space, then he looked over at the young vampire. “Come...if this is the way things were meant to be, then at least you can use to learn a few things from someone who isn’t nealy so insane.”

His mind swam, the blackness, though depthless, it still managed to spin around him, small bursts of light errupting like the night time sky, spinning faster amd faster until the light died all together. He felt he would be ill as his stomach twisted into a knot, bowling his distant feeling body in pain. As suddenly as hte spinning space scape appeared in a burst of light in front of his eyes, it collapsed in on itself, the light drawing into the dark, his mind snapping back into his body. Snapping back to reality.

Kain groaned, his head lolling to the side, body twitching, spasiming painfully as his mind fought back to reality. He could hear distant sounds over his moans of pain as awareness came back to him. He could bare recognise one of the voices.... so familiar yet alien...saying his voice over and over again....

Until reality literally hit him upside the head. His vision halted, a familliar deeply green skinned face coming into view. “It’s about time you woke up.”

“Unnnnn.....where ‘m I?”

“You’re in my home and you’re still alive no thanks to your own actions.”

“How? What happened..?” Kain attempted to sit up but a firm hand pushed him back down and held him.

“You’d better rest actually. We can tell stories another time.”

“Must know...please..?”

Vorador sighed. “Fine. Then you rest.”

“Alright.”

“Your newest one you had brought home saved your rears. Though Raziel is a brave, spirited young one, he was too weak to defend you. Strangely the other one, Dumah, was able to defend you and defeat several Sarafan. He is as dumb as a brick, but he can weild a sword quite well,” Vorador said.

Kain chuckled. “I didn’t expect a genious out of all of them. What of the last three?”

“You said you would rest.”

“This is my children we’re speaking of.”

Vorador gave a light snort. “The older two are resting. You were weak when you raised them, and they inhereted that weakness. The one started to pick over my library and he rests there, the other has slinked off somewhere to rest, perhaps in the basement somewhere. The third...he rests next to you if you haven’t noticed.”

Kain’s head rolled to the other side, to the resting pale form next to him, small breaths causeing his chest to move. He narrowed his eyes, knowing something had to not be right. “Is he...?”

“He is animatied....barely. He is the weakest vampire I have ever seen, if one can truly call him that. I’ve fed him my own blood in hopes to strenthen him but it doesn’t seem to work. You’ll be fortunate if he will ever be able to live on his own, but I doubt he will.”

Kain moved some, to look closer at the peacefully sleeping fledgling. “He doesn’t feed as well as the others do either.” One of Kain’s pale hands reached over, shaking with weakness, to touch the youngling’s flaking, dry skin. He softly stroked his cheek, watching as he struggled to exist. “That one, you’re best sparing a miserable existance and letting him return to the grave.”

“No...he will survive. I will see to it.”

“It’s foolish and cruel to bring that sort of life upon him.”

“It wil be neither...I will see to it.” He slowly turned, rolling to his side and pulling the young vampire closer to him, letting him nestle closer. “He will survive...the others need a lesson in compassion as they do strength..otherwise...”

“Otherwise they would sound like you a couple years ago.”

“Yes...”

“Rest now.”

“MnnHmm...” Kain murmurred, finally drifting off to sleep again.

“Father...?”

“Yes RaZiel?” Kain felt his eldest nussle into the back of his neck, the arm wind around him.

“Why do you coddle him and not me now?”

“He is the youngest....and unfortunately the weakest. He needs care and plenty of it if he is to survive.”

“Why is he so weak? Should he not be strong, like me, like my other brothers?”

“He should be, yes. But the isn’t.”

“He does nothing but sleep and feed...isn’t he more of a burdon than a benefit?”

“You did nothing but rest and feed your first days. You may not remember it, but you feed a good deal, then would sleep again.”

“His first days are over and still he sleeps...”

Kain looked at RaSiel, up from Melchiah, whom he had been gently stroking his back. “You are being difficult RaSiel. I’m helping him...I’m not quite sure why I’m helping him right now...I’ve always abhorred those who were this weak but him....he seems to be an exception.”

“Your first act of mercy?”

“And last. He will be the only one who will recieve that kindness.”

“And last...”

“I want you to take care of him for the next couple days Raziel. I must scout a new hunting ground for you and your brothers. I want all of you to start hunting on your own, wiithout me, in a group if nessicary. Hopefully in time he will be a ble to join you. If not...then I can find other tasks for him to learn.”

“To live off of our hunts?”

“You lived off of mine at one time. Is this more jelousy?”

“Yes father.”

“And what did I say to you atfer I brought Turel home?”

“You said that we were to know our place, in our birth order...to not fight amongst ourselves and to obey you.”

“I also said respect each other and to work togeher if nessicary. I want you united. I want you to learn to work together. This includes him.”

“But if he cannot get up then how?”

“As I said. He will have his place. You have yours. That is gaurenteed. Now, please, watch him while I am gone. Perhaps then you will see what I mean.”

“Alright. What do I do with him?”

“Just watch him. If he needs something, get it for him.” Kain’s hand stroked his cheek. “He is getting stronger if that helps ease your mind some. Perhaps tonight I can try to make it up to you.”

“Please.....I miss your touch...”

Kain nodded. “I will return soon with what I need.” Raziel nodded and walked around, sitting where Kain was as he left his seat. Kain paused at the door, looking back as Rasziel looked Melchiah over with mild curiosity, reaching to tenatively touch him. He smiled alittle, and left.

Melchiah stirred a little. “F-father...?” came his dry, weak voice.

“He left. He had me watch you.” Raziel looked down, seeing his face finally, the dry flaking skin there. “Are you alright?”

“Father says I’m sick...I feel it...” He shifted more, turning to see who was with him. “Who are you?”

“I am Raziel, your oldest brother.”

“I...have brothers?”

“Yes. There are six of us total.”

“I hope the others are better than I am...so weak...”

“So I see and have heard,” Raziel said gently, leaning down to see him better, curious of him still. He pulled aside the blanket he was wrapped in, coiled under it as if seeking warmth that he couldn’t really get. “My God....”

“I”m sorry...father also says I can’t hold myself together I’m so weak. He said he hopes I’ll get over it and be strong. I hope so as well.”

“Your skin is peeling away in places...”

“I know. It itches a lot...” An uncontious reaction now, he scratched at himself some.

“What happens if it all goes away? Will you heal like we do?” Raziel reached into the blankets, touching his shreading skin as if it were ancient parchment, feeling it flake and crumble beneath his finkers.

“How do you heal?”

“The other night a human tried to fight back, they came at me with broken glass. The cut healed swiftly. It was gone by the time I had taken his life.” he puleld away a few pieces f shead skin, looking at it like it didn’t belong there.

“I don’t seem to..or at least not very fast. Wouldn’t all this lost skin come back?”

“I would imagine so. If it doesn’t, you’re going to look strange...” Raziel frowned, a thought blooming in his mind. “...skin keeps blood in...how will you live if all that you drink leaks away?”

“I hope father knows. He knows a lot. He has hope for me.”

Raziel’s expression turned to one of pity as he reached to touch him again, feeling damp flesh where he lacked skin. “You seem brave and hopeful despite your condition. I can’t help but hope for you as well. Our other brothers seem a bit rough harsh even...but you seem to mean well...gentle perhaps...”

“I can’t be rough. I’m afraid I’d fall apart.” Melchiah carefully wormed his way around under the covers, pulling them away some to twist and look at the one he had been speaking with. “You’re beautiful...like father....”A light blush touched Raziel’s cheeks. “Tell me of our other brothers. Father doesn’t speak of them much.”

“After myself there is Turel. He is quiet, seems to have taken to the magic Vorador has here. He is learning it quicky. I can tell in his eyes that he anilyses everything. Thern there is Dumah. He is a bit of an ogre; dull witted but very strong. There is a lot of fight in him. Fouth comes Rahab. I haven’t the opertunity to speak much to him for he is retreated into Vorador’s library reading every book he can touch. He sleeps there often and doesn’t seem too interested in conversation anyways. Lastly, before you, is Zephon. I don’t like the look in his eyes. He hides below, in the blood coated chambers of the basement.”

“I am one of six brothers.”

“Yes.”

“Do they know about me?”

“They do. We felt...” he paused, considering his words. “That you...”

“Aren’t worthy?”

“Yes. But talking with you now has changed my opinion.” His hand returned, stroking one cheek, Melchiah leaning into the gentle touch. “If you can just get well enough to be able to move, walk even, I’m certian there is a place amongst us for you.”

“I hope so. I don’t think I could stand to lie here forever and be nursed constantly. The other day I wanted to get up and run, but father wouldn’t let me. He said it was best I save that energy. Instead...he...”

Raziel leaned down as he spoke, enough so Melchiah could feel his cool breath on his skin. “Did you enjoy it?”

“Please don’t be jelous...I heard you were earlier...”

“I’m not now. You don’t have to fear me.” Raziel leaned down more, their cheeks touching, rubbing together lightly. He pulled away just a little, to feel the texture of the other’s skin upon his lips as they grased his skin, along until he met the other’s cool lips. They stayed together for a ocuple minutes, until Raziel slowly withdrew. Melchiah looked up at him, in his eyes he could see sparks of a yearning for more physical contact bloom. Raziel smiled to him.

“Please...more...you’re so handsome...I want more of you...” One of Melchiah’s hands moved from under the sheets, rising up and touching Rasiel’s face, tracing the lines of it, down, along his lips gently. “Please...”

Rasiel’s answer was simply leaning down to kiss him again, drinking him in. His hand came up to stroke the side of his face a little, circling up until he could caress the back of his head, hold and support him into the kiss. Raziel pulled away again, to help him pull the heavy sheets away from him, sliding them back and revealing him. Melchiah lie there, dressed only in light pants. He seemed to shiver, now revealed to the open air. Raziel leaned down again, moving onto the bed and half lying over him. Melchiah’s arms moved, streaching out and grasping around him.

Their lips met again, the same slow kiss repeating, their bodies slowy entwining with one another. Raziel pulled up, holding himself carefully over Melchiah, watching him as he used his hands to explore him. They slid over his pale skin, feeling its smoothness, touching everywhere he could. His hands came back up, caressing his face, running though his hair, taking it out of the tieback and letting it spill over his shoulders. He leaned up to touch those silken strands with is lips, to kiss them as if to worship him. He ran his fingertips along his lips, slowly caressing them, then wandering back down his skin.

In return, he lie back to let Raziel to look him over as well, to look him over carefullyw ith his hands and lips, ;leaning to suckle a nipple until it stood out, massaging his chest gently, making him wither at the caresses. He continued down his body, gently pulling off hte thin pants and exploring him further. His hands gently trailed up his legs, to his thighs, sliding over his hips.

Below him, Melchiah withered more, his breath shaking with small moans, his hands clasping the sheets. His moans grew louder as Raziel’s hands grew bolder, taking hold of him and stroking, caressing and looking him over, his cool breath washing over him rythmically. Then they grew louder still as wet lips enclosed on him, tongue stroking and sqirrling the head before he sucked it gently. The young vampire gasped, withering under the attention his elder brother was dealing.

The tender touches and licks continued until Melchiah was withering below Raziel, whimpering softly. “Please...more please....”

Rasiel looked up, smiling softly. “What did Kain do with you?”

“He...he” Panting broke Melchaih’s speach, “he used his tongue and mouth....”

Rasiel leaned up, over him, his head dipping low, their lips nearly touching. “Would you want to...feel more than that...?’

“H-how so brother?”

“I can fill you, make you feel full and give you other pleasures....” his hand stole between Melchaih’s legs, probing gently until he found what he desired and pressed against the located tight ring of muscle. The young vampire gasped, shifting under him and opening his legs more.

“Puh-please...yes, I’d like that...please....ooh...”

Raziel smiled, leaning for another kiss, catching his lip with his teeth as he pulled away. “Open up for me then, I’ve found a way to make the first time hurt less. Hold on...”

“Hurry...please...”

Raziel smiled as he went to the stand, puling a vial from there and uncorking it. He dribbled a little oil onto his fingers and carefully spread it on the other’s opening, more used then to coat his lenth after he stripped away his clothing. He leaned back over the younger vampire again, this time pressing the head of his ridgid lenth against him. Melchiah gasped again, wihtering and whimpering beneath him, muttering pleas to hurry. Raziel leaned down for a gentle kiss, one hand grasping and kneading his chest as he pressed inwards.

His head rolled to the side, a pained grunt coming from him as he felt the elder push inside. “Unnnn....hrrrts...”

“It does,” Raziel whispered into his ear, nibbling on the lobe. “It does little brother...it won’t later, just hold on, you’ll see how good it can be.”

Melchiah whimpered, feeling the head pop inside and Raziel halt his movement. “The worst is over, you can do this...take all of it. You won’t believe how good it feels...” The younger vampire’s arms wrapped around the elder’s leaning up and nussling into his neck as he felt more enter him, shaking a little as it slid inside and finally came to a halt. Nibbling on his ear roused Melchiah back, his eyes shifting to catch glimpses of Raziel’s hair. “Mnnnn....can you believe now?”

The youngling shifts his mind to his rear, giving test squeeses an gasping at the resounding sensations. “Nhhhh! I can...what happens now?”

“Everything you want,” Raziel replied, grinding and rotating his hips, stirring at the other’s insides and making him gasp again. His lips slid to the other’s throat, nusling, nibbling and licking as Raziel slowly withdrew, then pushed back in again, Melchiah whimpering and withering beneath him again. The youngling’s legs lifted, seeking to allow the other in further, thustly, one of Raziel’s hands looped his feet over his rear, to encircle his waist and hold on, lletting him thrust in eeply with the new angle.

With all their monaning, bodies entwined and enraptured in the moment, neter noticed Kain’s return. The elder blinked, wondered for part of a moment, part mind you, if there was something about the building and the need to rut like that for he was certain he felt it a few times. Then his mind returned to the scene before him, the two fledglings so caught up in themselves, watching as clawed and unclawed hands pawed at each other, grunts and moans of pleasure sounding in the air.

A tent formed in his pants, uncontiously a hand moved there to stroke the risen gorge as the two’s passion heightened. The younger one, Melchiah came, crying out and shaking beneath the other, clinging tight to him. His eyes went wide, staring up at something. Raziel frowned and folowed the younger one’s line of sight. Kain smiled to the both of them. Raziel’s eyes wandered over him, seeing the tent that had formed in his pants.

“Not so bad now is he Raziel?” Kain asked, stepping forward and sitting on the bed.

“N-no...” Raziel looked down at Melchiah, looking at a sweet vision of extasy as he rested in the afterglow, eyes partially open and staring to some point beyind the cealing. Raziel leaned down to kiss is semi-parted lips. “He is rather...sweet...”

Kain nodded, smiling slightly. He reached over, stroking the side of Rasiel’s face witht he back of his hand gently. “The two of you could use rest.”

“Father...you’re still...”

“Hush child. I can deal with it.”

“But I want to help.”

“I will be fine. Rest.”

Raziel paused. “May I at least please watch?”

Kain smiled again. “If you wish.”

“Please...”

He chuckled and stood, stripping away his clothing and readying himself for the next day. He came back over, sitting causally si Raziel could indeed see the stiffness that stood out from his lower body. He relaxed and ran a hand up the underside, a half purr as he did so, then he played, moving hte foreskin an showing off as his finger circled the head. Rasiel watched his fingers move, like a predator, watching still as some gasps started to come though Kain’s lips as his hands kept moving.

Raziel crept forward, having seperated himself from the younger vampire and leaning hungarly to watch. Melchiah watched as well, almost studying how Kains’s hand moved over himself, seeming like milking himself. Kain’s breatheing grew a little heavier, giving them a half smile as his other hand moved between his legs, to caress his sac, all the while gentle with either hand. A nessicaty considering his sharp claws.

Raziel stared in fascination. He watched, watching veins pulse though the shaft, the color rise, bleached white skin taking pinkish red hues as it engorged ad pulsed, the head more so, brighter in color. His hand paused it’s strokes, to rub around the head with his fingers then palm, making himself shiver with the sensation then go back to stroking vigerously.

Raziel crept over closer still, Kain too lost in his labor to notice. He leaned down, holding his breath so he wouldn’t notice, and took the head gently in his mouth. Kain’s eyes shot open to look down, smiling to see who was there.Rasiel’s lips wrapped around him, suckling like an infant, his tongue licking at the head and around the slit. His strokes grew more and more vigerous until Raziel pushed his hands away, his mouth and own hands taking over. He waved Melchicah over, trying to contribute a hand. That same hand grew curious, wanting to know mroe about what happened to himself. He carefully reached between his sire and elder brother, Rasiel pausing to lick at the underside, tracing veins with hsi tongue. Melchiah continued searching and finding the same ring of muscle. He took a little oil, slickened his fingers then pushed at that same ring.

Kain’s eyes went wide, gasped, then back to their dased look as he felt two fingars push inside him and explore around. They wouched on everything, then payused, feeling the patch and stopping searching. Those fingers rubbed a patch of nerves, characterised by a small swell inside him. Between the wonderful mouth suckling him and the fingers stroking inside him, his body frose an came, groaning, his seed spraying out into the mouth that still encompased him.

Raziel withdrew his mouth until his lips were just around the head and suckled a little, the jetting fluid gathering on his tongue and in his mouth. He swallowed it, smilng and licking his lips, looking at Kain as he lie half propped up, panting. Melchiah binked, then half smiled as well, pulling his fingers free.

Kain smiled in return to them, wondering how lucky he was truly, with fledglilngs such as these. So willing...Raziel leaned up, pressing a kiss to his lips. There he could taste himself, and he drank it in. His dear, sweet fledglings....He was now tired himself, drifting away to sleep as he felt the both of them move closer, coiling as close as they could to him.
