He has been nominated for Grammy Awards for his epic and emotionally haunting film scores, including Aliens (1986), the song "Somewhere Out There" from An American Tail (1986), Apollo 13 (1995), Braveheart (1995), and Field of Dreams (1989). His most famous film score, Titanic (1997), won two Academy Awards for best dramatic winner and My Heart Will Go On, best song from Titanic.
