| Prince Charming Chapter 3 |
| "Madison get up now!!!" Madison got up to the rude voice of her mother screaming in her face for her to wake up. "Get up! You look like hell and we are all going to look at the hotel where the reception is held and make sure everything is ok, and you have to help your sister pick up her dress from the Tailors and her shoes that stupid cat of your scratched up!" Gwen yelled pulling Madison out of bed and shoving her in the bathroom and closing the door. Madison opened the door right after she closed it. "Excuse me but that is not my cat!! You know I hate cats" Madison said yelling right back at her. "Don't you care yell at me young lady!" Her mother said raising her voice higher. "Yes, mommy dearest." She said as she slammed the bathroom door in her face. She took a shower, got dressed, blow dried her hair and put on her usual make up routine: earth toned eye shadow, eye liner, mascara and lip gloss. She wasn't big on wearing a lot of make up even though she was good at putting it on and she loved to, but if she wore to much she looked like a two cent hooker and she didn't want to tempt her mom into calling her one. Once she was ready she went down stairs, her father was sitting at the kitchen table reading the business section of the news paper. He was checking his stocks because he didn't really want to go on the computer to check them. "Good morning Daddy." "Good Morning honey, there's stuff in the fridge you know your mother she doesn't cook." He said brightly Madison knew her mother all too well she didn't cook, she didn't clean or do dishes, she didn't even work. She sat at home or went shopping with her friends. She is quite the social butterfly. Madison got a cup of Orange Juice and a pop tart and sat at the table. "So Maddy how have you been. I haven't gotten to talk to you in a long time." Her dad said putting down his newspaper and giving her his full attention. "Well I got my apartment, but my things don't come in for another two days. I don't know why they are taking so long. I start work next monday and I told you I got that job as editor of the business section of the Orlando Suntimes right?" She asked as she took a bite of her pop tart. "Yes you did that's quite an accomplishment for a 23 year old girl" Mark was proud of his daughter she was daddy's little girl. Just then Gwen and Jaime walked in the kitchen. "Ok lets go everyone." Gwen said not caring whether or not Madison was done eating. Madison knew she wouldn't wait for her she threw away the remainder of the pop tart after one large bite and poured her orange juice down the drain, it tasted funny anyway too much pulp. The all got in the Expedition that had been the family car before the girls moved out and got their own car and homes, but they never got rid of it. They drove for about 20 minutes, Madison was trying her hardest to block her mothers ranting and raving about how they were going to be late because of madison and how she was eating and how she thought she was fat (which wasn't true) and didn't need that pop tart. The women was insufferable. They pulled up to a large posh hotel called 'El Camino Real.' The building was of Spanish architecture with vines and plants growing everwhere it was beautiful. The reception was to be in the court yard of the hotel at night so people could dance under the stars. Thank God it was Florida because if not everyone would freeze to death. When they arrived the wedding planner ,Kierstyn, had just arrived "Hello everyone" Kierstyn said, cheerfully she was one of those people that just had to have been a cheerleader in highschool. "Hello" the Jordan Family said in unison. "Well you'll be happy to know that all the importanted tropical flowers arrived today and are in a green house to keep them fresh and beautiful, the candles are all ready, the caterers called this morning and said they are already getting prepared, and everything seems to be going smoothly." Kiestyn said again in her cheery squeaky voice. Madison just wanted to kick her in the head she hated girls like Kierstyn she reminded her too much of a high school cheerleader, not that she had anything against them they just weren't her favorite people in the world. "What about the flower bouquets?" Gwen asked curiously when they weren't mentioned. "Well those umm..." Kiestyn paused for a moment and looked nervous. "well they are all being shipped here from brazil since they are all tropical flowers and they aren't exactly here yet." "What?!?!?! the wedding is tomorrow evening!!" Gwen yelled she seemed to care about the wedding more than Jaime did. "I know Mrs.Jordan but there isn't anything I can do about that." "Listen missy by tomorrow night we better have those here or I'll make sure you never plan another wedding in the United States in your entire natural life. I don't care if you have to run to Brazil yourself pick the flowers and make them your self you get them here by tomorrow.do you understand me?" Gwen asked in a very high voice. "Yes, I'll get on the phone right now." Kierstyn walked away pulling her phone out and dialing as she walked. "Jeez, Gwen you didn't have to yell at her like that it's not her fault." Madison said staring coldly at her mother. "I'm your mother not a stranger do not call me gwen." "Yeah whatever." Madison said with an attidude "Don't tempt me young lady, i'm serious i dont have time for your smart alec remarks today." "Here's an idea why don't you let Jaime plan her own wedding?" Madison walked away to see the rest of the hotel. |
