~*~Two days later~*~ (does anyone even pay attention to time in stories?)

     Madison finished getting her house all ready. Everything was where she wanted it to be. It was Monday Morning and that meant her first day back at the Orlando Suntimes. Jenn of course wouldn't be there. Madison could still remember the day fresh in her mind when she found out how Jenn died. It was a cold day, rainy, she sat in her apartment in Paris, France. She was 'investegating' Jenn's death. Madison got a call from an old friend she new from college who was a detective. He had found out who did it... It was Brian, her boyfriend. It turned out he only wanted one thing and Jenn didn't want to give it. It sickened Madison to think of such a psycho.

      Madison went to the Orlando Suntimes, the familiar building looked about the same but was now a different color, not it's old off white, now a formal and elegant gray. She walked in the building and looked around. There was a new receptionist, she looked as if she was new and nervous from the looks of her. Madison walked over to her.

"Hello, mam how can I help you?" The girl asked very properly.

"Hello, I'm Madison Jordan, I was just transferred here from France, would you be so kind as to point me in the right direction?" Madison said sweetly trying to sound as nice as possible as not to scare the young girl.

"Madison Jordan" the girl said as she looked at her computer. "Ah yes, 8th floor" She said.

"Thank you very much" Madison said and walked to the elevator before the girl had time to explain where it was.

      Madison rode the elevator to the 8th floor. She looked around once there. It looked different, the desks were different as were the chairs and computers and just about every other piece of furniture there.

     Madison looked around for an editor's office. Then she spotted one. E. Parks it said on the door. Madison walked over and knocked. A faint 'come in' sounded from the other side. Madison walked in.

"Hello" a woman said who was sitting at the desk.

"Hi I'm Madison Jordan I was transferred here from France." Madison said simply.

"Oh Madison we were expecting you, Nice to meet you I'm Elise." She said putting out a hand.

"Nice to meet you too"

"No I understand you used to work here three years ago, right?" Elise said not quite sure.

"Yes that's correct." Madison said.

"Super! Well no much has changed so I think you'll know what to do, you're office is three doors down" Elise said. (You're probably thinkin' 'ooh another Jenn'... I DON'T THINK SO!)

"Thank you" Madison said and turned around.

"Oh yeah and Madison, welcome back" Elise said with a smile.

"Thank you" Madison said back and went to go see her new office.

      Madison did nothing that day at work, she met some of the staff writters and some other nice people. She went home and looked at her messages. She had 1 new message. She pushed the play button.

"Hey Maddy, It's Becca, ok well I was just calling to see how you're doing and if you are settled it yet. So give me a call cuz girly i haven't talk to you lately. Ok bye bye" Becca said and was followed by a click. Madison picked up the phone and dialed Becca's number.

"Hello?" Becca answered.

"Hey Bec, you called?" Madison asked plopping down on the couch.

"Yeah, Hey Girly what's up?"

"Nothing much, today was my first day of work and it was pretty boring. what about you?" Madison asked.

"Nothing much, i just went out with a few friends and that's it" Becca said with a sigh.

"You aren't gonna believe this." Madison said.

"What happened?" Becca said sitting up from her bed completely interested when she heard Madison's tone.

"Ok you know I told you that I got a new house right?" Madison asked

"Yeah"

"Ok well guess who my new neighbor is" Madison said.

"Ben Affleck?" Becca asked.

"I wish, it's Justin" Madison said.

"Justin as in your ex-boyfriend who is engaged? Justin Timberlake formarly in the pop sensation *N SYNC?"

"Yep that's him." Madison said with a long loud sigh.

"Ooh, Madison why don't you just admit it, you still want him" Becca said.

"No, he's getting married, and who said i wanted him?" Madison said

"I didn't need to hear it from anyone I can sense it"

"Who threw you the book of knowledge?" Madison asked sarcastically.

"Very funny Maddy. Come on just admit it." Becca said

"No way, Bec I gotta go i'm starving i'm gonna go see what i can find" Madison said.

"Ok talk to you later, bye" Becca said and hung up.

      Madison sat and thought about what Becca said. I do NOT want him, he's getting married yeah right. Madison thought and laughed. She made herself dinner and hooked up her computer and internet, so she could go online.

Finally her computer was all hooked up and ready. It was almost 9:30 PM and she hadn't checked her e-mail in weeks. She clicked the 'Internet Explorer' icon and went to Hotmail, she signed in and had about 50 e-mails half of which were junk mail. The rest were from friends and other people she knew. She signed on AIM. After being on for 5 minutes she got an IM, from an old friend, HeartBreakinJ she met him in a chat room and had been talking for about a year and they knew almost nothing about eachother.

HeartBreakinJ: Hey Girly, It's been a while.

AwaitingMyPrince: Hey I know!

HeartBreakinJ: So What's up?

AwaitingMyPrince: Nothing much, I just moved into my house a couple of days ago.

HeartBreakinJ: Cool. So did you move to wear you used to live or some place new?

AwaitingMyPrince: I moved back home to all my friends :)

HeartBreakinJ: That's cool! Have you seen everyone yet? Including that ex-boyfriend you told me about? :)

AwaitingMyPrince: LoL Yeah I saw him and he's gonna get married!! Doesn't that suck so bad?!?!

HeartBreakinJ: Well it only sucks if you aren't over him.

AwaitingMyPrince: I don't know if i am over him that's the thing

HeartBreakinJ: Oh that sucks then :( If you love the guy so much then go after him.

AwaitingMyPrince: How on earth would i do that?

HeartBreakinJ: Well if he loves you back then he would probably want to go back with you. so try to break them up or something.

AwaitingMyPrince: Break them up?

HeartBreakinJ: Yeah, I mean if he doesn't love you then he won't go for you again.

AwaitingMyPrince: hmm that's not a bad idea :) I'll have to think about that

HeartBreakinJ: I gotta go my girlfriend just called. ttyl bye.

AwaitingMyPrince: Bye!

            Madison signed off and went to bed. She thought about what her online friend said. She didn't know his name, or where he was from, she knew absolutely nothing only that he was a guy. She lay in bed. Could this work? she thought to herself. How would I do it without being obvious? she thought about that for about an hour and finally she fell into a deep dreamful sleep.
