Madison woke up saturday morning completely happy and hyper. Her friend Becca was coming to visit for the week and she couldn't wait to go pick her up. She showered and dressed. Soon after she got in her car to go pick up Becca.
She drove into the arrivals area of the airport. She parked the car and went in. Standing outside as tons rushed out of the plane and greeted their families. She finally spotted her walking out. Madison smiled when she saw her.
"Becca!" madison said and gave her a hug.
"Hey Girly" Becca said.
"Come on let's go" Madison said and turned around. They walked down to the baggage claim and picked up Becca's suitcase. Soon after they were driving back to Madison's house.
"We're here!" Madison said as she parked the car in her driveway.
"Oooh Nice Place" Becca said.
"Thanks" They got out of the car and started walking toward the door. As Madison walked to the door she was rudely stopped when something jumped on her. she screamed.
"Prince! Get off her!!" Justin yelled once he saw what had happened.
"Prince off" Madison said and he obidiently followed directions.
"Sorry about that" Justin said nervously.
"That's ok it seems to happen a lot" Madison smiled. She looked over at Becca who was giving her a smile as if saying 'introduce us'
"Justin this is my friend Becca, Becca this is Justin" Madison said.
"Nice to meet you" they both said.
"Justin Madison!" someone said and they both turned around. It was Marie.
"Oh hi" Madison said.
"Hey" Justin said and gave her a kiss.
"Hey Madison what's up?" Marie said.
"Nothing much. Marie this is my friend Becca, Becca this is Marie Justin's fiancee." Madison said giving Becca a look only she would understand.
"Nice to meet you" they both said.
"Oh Madison you absolutely have to come to this wedding shower i'm having, everyone's gonna be there" Marie said excitedly.
"Oh i would love to come." Madison said, how could she say no?
"Oh great! It's tomorrow at noon and bring Becca" Marie said.
"umm ok where is it at?" Madison asked.
"the Hyatt." Marie said.
"Ok i'll see you then, we gotta go bye" Madison said.
"Bye" Becca said.
"Ok bye i'll see you guys tommorrow" Marie said with a wave and Justin just waved.
They walked into the house and Madison showed Becca the spare room she was staying in.

"So that was the infamous Marie and the notorious Justin" Becca said plopping down on her couch once they had finished getting all her stuff upstairs.

"Jeez you make them sound like criminals" Madison said sitting down also.

"Well she did steal you man" Becca said.

"No she didn't, I left and she just got him after. So it's my fault" Madison said sadly.

"You still love him don't you?" Becca asked when she saw the look on Madison's face.

"Yes" She said quietly. Becca was shocked she wasn't expecting to her that, she thought Madison would deny it.

"Jeez Bec I do still love him but I was stupid and I let him go and now he's happy with her" Madison said. She felt like crying right then and there, but she tried her hardest to hold back the tears.

"I know, but how do you know that he doesn't love you still too?" Becca asked.

"He's getting married Becca, you don't marry someone unless you're madly inlove with them" Madison said flattly.

"Well maybe he thinks he loves her, but he loves you more. You know sometimes when you love someone so much you have to be numb to it or else it'll kill you" Becca said.

"Yeah, well it's killing me here!" Madison said and layed down.

"Well why don't you try to get him back? try to break them up." Becca suggested.

"You're the second person who's said that" Madison sighed.

"Who else? Cause they must be smart" Becca said with a grin.

"Very funny, Becca, it was some guy i've been talking to online." Madison said.

"Cool well i think you should, cuz you never know he could be wanting you just as bad as you want him" Becca said.

"Yeah sure whatever, that's why he's getting married right?"Madison said sacastically.

"Madison you never know"

"Whatever Becca, he's getting married, and even if I did try to break them up. How?" Madison asked.

"Well you could try being her friend then stabbing her in the back by taking her man" Becca suggested.

"Yeah i could also kill her in her sleep" Madison said sarcastically "I don't think so, cuz then if i did break them up i would feel guilty and i wouldn't want to be with Justin knowing that he was gonna marry someone else and i broke them up for my own selfish reasons."

"So you don't want him back then?" Becca asked now completely confused.

"No! I do want him back"

"Girl, you're completely confusing me"

"I want him back, but I don't want to have a guilty conscience if I ever do get him back. So I want to I guess start over and stuff and just I don't know. But I want him back" Madison sighed.

"Well if you don't wanna have a guilty conscience you better get started fast because if i recall well like you told me you have 9 or 10 months to do so, cuz they're gonna get married." Becca said.

"I have an idea!" Madison said and sat up.

"What?"

"Ok well I can be friends with Justin, and he can decide whether or not he still loves me and if he doesn't then he isn't worth it and we aren't meant to be. Do you understand?" Madison asked.

"Good idea go for the friendship way." Becca said with a grin. "Right Madison I don't know about you but i'm tried i'm gonna go to bed, it's like almost 9:30. Goodnight"

"Ok goodnight i'll see ya tomorrow." Madison said and watched as Becca walked upstairs. She sat on her couch for a little longer and thought. She walked out and sat on the porch. She was in complete silence until something came up to her and liked her leg. It was Prince.

"Hey Prince" Madison said and stroked his head. "Shouldn't you be inside or atleast in the backyard?" Madison asked, she talked to the dog but she didn't care how stupid she looked.

"Prince!" Madison heard Justin calling him.

"He's over here" Madison said loudly so he could hear her.

"Oh hi" Justin said as he walked over to her. Prince was laying on the porch with Madison with him head in her lap. He smiled at the sight.

"How did he get out?" Madison asked.

"I have no idea." Justin said. Then they were in silence.

"Justin can we talk?" Madison asked.

"Sure" He said and sat down next to her on the porch leaving a big enough space between them.

"I know you must hate me or be mad because I left." Madison started.

"I'm not mad at you"

"Good. I just wanted to say i'm sorry and i hope we can be friends" Madison smiled.

"I would like that" Justin said with a smile. "How long have you been sitting out here?"

"About 20 minutes or so"

"Why?" Justin asked.

"Just thinking"

"Can I ask what about?"

"You remember when that night at Crystal Bay Carnival when we were on the pier and i said that thing about the aliens on a far away planet?" Madison asked.

"Yeah i remember" Justin said How could i forget he thought.

"I was just thinking of that, you know and whether or not they have pets and stuff." Madison thought. Justin smiled at her She hasn't changed a bit. He thought.

"So you gonna go to the wedding shower tomorrow?" Justin asked.

"Yeah are you? or are you not supposed to?" Madison asked.

"No this is the one thing i can go to" He said

"Cool"

"I have to go, it's late" Justin said once he looked at his watch.

"Ok bye" Madison said and watched him wave and take his dog with him to his house next door. She stayed there for a while and thought. Finally yawn strang from her mouth and she decided to go to bed.
