Madison woke up after her rough night of crying. She woke up refreshed and feeling much better. She lazily got out of bed. It was Saturday morning which meant: no work. She made herself some waffles and lazily sat down infront of the TV to eat. She had every intention of staying there in her pajamas. That was until the phone rang. She wearily got up and answered it.

"Hello?" Madison said.

"Hey Maddy! It's Marie" She said cheerfully over the phone.

"Oh Hey" Madison said trying to sound more cheerful.

"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today. You know go shopping and get our nails done and stuff?" Marie asked hopefully.

"umm... Sure" Madison said. Although she felt like being lazy she was the Maid of Honor and those were her duties, to bond with the bride.

"Great! Is in an hour ok? I'll go to your house." Marie asked.

"Umm sure Do I need to dress nice or can i just wear whatever?" Madison asked

"Anything is fine i'm wearing jeans and a t-shirt" Marie said.

"umm ok"

"Ok I'll see you in an hour! bye" Marie said and hung up the phone. Madison hurried upstairs and took a shower. She blow dried her hair and put on some long pants jean overalls with a white tank top under. She put her hair in a half pony tail did light make up and was done right when the doorbell rang. She hurried downstairs and opened the door. Marie was standing there ready to go.

"Hey" Madison said.

"Hey ready to go?" Marie asked.

"Yeah let me get my purse" Madison said and ran to get her purse. She grabbed it and walked out to Marie's dark blue Mercedes M-class. She got in the car.

"Ok you wanna go to the nail salon first i found the best place it's like a spa but they do nails and stuff and they're awesome" Marie said as she drove out of Madison's driveway. Once again Marie drove like a maniac until she reached a place called, Nifty Nails. They walked inside. It was a nice place looked very clean. They walked to the counter and were greated by a girl who didn't look older than them.

"Hi I'm Sam how can I help you ladies?" She asked politely.

"Yeah we're gonna need manicures and pedicures" Marie said as if it were an urgent thing.

"Ok girls right this is way. You can be right next to eachother so you can chat" Sam said and pointed to two big seats for them to sit down in. They sat down and got comfortable. Two short little vietnamese ladies came over to them and place a foot bath infront of them. They spoke very broken english, but Madison and Marie understood when they were told to put their feet in the foot bath. They two women started to work on their toes.

"So Madison, How've you been lately?" Marie asked starting coversation.

"I've been good! Just working at stuff" Madison lied, she wasn't about to tell Marie she was miserable because she wanted her fiancee.

"Madison would you mind if I asked you about you and Justin? You know when you guys were together?" Marie asked cautiously.

"Umm... no I don't mind" She lied in reality she didn't want to talk about it, but she didn't want to show any emotion other than friendship toward just. Especially not the slightest hint of love.

"How long were you two together?" Marie asked with a giggle as the lady buffed her toe nails.

"We were together about 4 months or so" Madison said.

"Oh cool, so were you two like really serious?" Marie asked.

"Umm really serious? We it depends how you define really serious" Madison said avoiding the question. It was odd talking to Marie and this after all Justin was her fiancee.

"Well did you two ever... you know" Marie said and gave her a weird look. Madison knew exactly what she meant.

"oh that no! no! we never did that" Madison said and it was true.

"Oh good because having my maid of honor know what my fiancee is like in bed would be weird." Marie said with a laugh.

"Yeah that would be pretty weird" Madison said. They finished getting their hands and toes done, then they went to lunch at TGI Friday's.

"I'm so excited I can't wait until the wedding" Marie said once they were seated.

"I can imagine!" Madison said.

"Maddy, Do you ever wish you had a boyfriend?" Marie asked curiously.

"Yeah sometimes, I mean who doesn't. Especially when I see a happy couple or Chris and Molly, or Jaime and Lance, or Lynnette and JC. You know they have kids and they're still babies and I'm sure I want that someday." Madison said.

"Did you ever have a boyfriend after Justin?" Marie asked.

"Yeah I had a couple but they didn't work out." It was the truth she did try to date, but her problem was she compared them to Justin and no one would ever come close.

"Oh that's too bad. I still don't understand why. You're pretty and you have a nice personality" Marie said.

"Yeah but I have a curse... I'm extremely picky" Madison said, in a way it was true. "So did you guys decide where the honeymoon is gonna be?"

"Yeah, Spain" Marie said excitedly.

"Oh wow, it's beautiful there" Madison said.

"Have you been there before?" Marie asked.

"Yeah, well i used to live in France and that's right next door" Madison said.

"Oh cool, Do you speak French?" Marie asked now curious.

"Yeah"

"That's so neat! Why on earth did Justin ever leave you?" Marie asked jokingly. Madison looked at her and tried to take it as a joke. "Oh that's ok though if not he wouldn't be with me"

"Yeah and we might not be here right now" Madison said. At that very moment she felt like crying. "Excuse me I have to use the restroom contact troubles " Madison said pointing to her eye.

"Ok" Marie said. Madison got up and went to the bathroom.

She walked in and thankfully no one was in there. Jeez what's wrong with me? Madison you have to get over Justin! You can't have him back she thought. Tears started to spill over her cheeks and she tried her hardest to stop them, but she couldn't help it. Someone walked in the bathroom and Madison turned to face the wall so no one would see her crying, but the lady noticed.

"Dear are you ok?" the old lady asked.

"Yeah I'm fine" Madison said and turned around to face her.

"Oh Hello there. Do you remeber me? about 4 years ago we sat next to eachother on a plane to Cancun, I'm claire. You were with that nice young man" Claire said. Madison remembered her.

"Yeah I remember you" Madison said with a smile.

"What's wrong honey?" Claire asked. "Where's that young man of yours?"

"um I don't know probably at work or something." Madison said.

"Is that why you're crying because he isn't here?" Claire asked.

"No, we... we aren't together anymore" Madison said and another tear ran down her cheek.

"Aww that's a shame you two were cute together." Claire said.

"Yeah but he seems to think him and his new fiancee are cuter" Madison said bitterly.

"Oh Honey i'm sorry. You still love him don't you?"

"Me.. Love him... no" Madison denied.

"I know you do. I can see it in your eyes." Claire said. "You should go for him. I remember how happy you two were. Not many people can have that"

"Excuse me nature calls" Claire giggled and walked to a stall. "And honey if you two were meant to be togther then you will be" She said and closed the door. Madison thought about that wiped the tears away and walked back to the table.

"Hey are you ok?" Marie asked.

"Yeah my contacts were really bugging me" Madison said, it was a great excuse. by the time she got back their food was there and she started eating. They finished eating then went shopping for a while. Later they went home, well atleast Madison did Marie went to Justin's house.

"Ok I'll see you later" Madison said and walked into her house.

Jeez today has been a long day. Madison thought. Then her doorbell rang again. she went to go answer it. It was Marie.

"Hey Maddy i forgot to tell you tomorrow is going to be another wedding shower my aunt Janine is throwing for me, so it's at her house" Marie said and handed her a piece of paper. "Sorry i had fogetten to give you the invite."

"That's ok umm I'll see you then" madison said.

"Ok bye" Marie said and walked away.

Madison looked down at the invitation. Tomorrow was another day with marie...
