| "Hello?" Madison answered the phone in her house, she had just walked in the door. "Hey Maddy It's Becca!" Becca said excitedly over the phone. "Oh Hey Bec what's up?" Madison asked "I got a boyfriend!" "OMG really!?! that's so great. Who is it?" Madison asked. "Remember my friend, Matt?" Becca asked. "Yeah" "Ok well he confessed his undying love for me!" Becca said dramatically. "Really? oh my gosh you two are so cute together. That's awesome Becca" Madison said she was really happy for her. "Yeah I know. So what about you? Did you get boot Marie from her place and steal Justin?" Becca asked with a laugh. "No, and i'm not going to either. They should be together. I know he loves her." Madison said. She hated having to explain herself to others. "But Maddy what about you? Be selfish for once and go for him!" Becca said. "No, I don't want to. They are really happy together" Madison said. "Jeez Girly you run hot and cold. one minute you'll do anything to get him back and then the next you just give up" Becca said. "Bec, I didn't just give up. He's happy with her and I just want him to be happy" Madison said quietly. "Oh please don't give me that. You want him to be happy with you!" Becca said. "Come on I know you do, please don't give up on this" She was sounding exactly like Molly and Jaime. "I don't think so. Plus she made me her maid of honor" Madison said. "WHAT?!?!" "Yeah i'm her maid of honor it sucks butt" Madison said. "Jeez sucks to be you" Becca said with a sigh "I Know i gotta go I'll talk to you later. Bye" Madison said and hung up. Why does everyone want us back together? He's getting married for crying out loud! We aren't meant to be together! Madison thought. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marie was in Justin's house. He was still at work, but she was waiting for him. She went to his room and found something laying on the bed. She walked over and picked it up. It was a photo album. Ooh Pictures! she thought. She opened it. Justin looked much younger probably 3 or 4 years younger. She flipped to the next page. They were pictures of everyone, JC, Lynnette, Joey, Gabby, Jaime, Lance, Chris, Molly, Makaela, and Madison. She flipped through then stopped at one picture. It was of Madison and Justin in some place beachy they were hugging then the next one they were dancing then the one after that kissing. She froze, could they have been together before? she thought. "Marie!" She heard Justin call from down stairs. "I'll be right down" Marie said. She grabbed the photo album and walked downstairs. "Hey Mar Mar" He said and gave her a kiss. "Hey, umm Justin can you explain something to me?" Marie asked she did the photo album behind her back. "Yeah what?" Justin asked a bit confused. "This" She said and handed him the photo album opened it and pointed to the pictures of him and Madison. When he layed eyes on them he froze. All the memories of him and Madison came flooding back. "Oh jeez, umm ok" Justin said. "Did you two like date or something?" Marie asked. "Umm yeah for a while" He said and pulled her over to sit on the couch. "Maybe we should get Madison over here" Marie said she picked up the phone and dialed her number before he had a chance to respond. "Hey Maddy It's Marie I'm at Justin's can you come over really fast?.... OK see ya bye" Marie said and hung up. A couple minutes later Madison rang the door bell and Justin answered. He looked at her weird, Madison wondered what was wrong. "Hey Madison" Marie said. "Hey what's up?" Madison asked. "Oh nothing we were just looking at some old photos and maybe you would like to see some of them since you're in them" Marie said cheerfully. Madison looked over at Justin questioning. He didn't say anything. "Come sit down" Marie said. Madison walked over and sat next to Marie. Marie opened the same photo album to the same page and pointed to Justin and Madison kissing. "Is there something you two more like everyone didn't tell me?" Marie asked. Madison looked at Justin. "Umm I guess" Madison said she felt guilty but she didn't know why. She hadn't done anything wrong. "Did you two date or something?" Marie asked. "Yeah we did for a while, actually a couple of months" Madison said and looked up at Justin. "When?" Marie asked. "3 almost 4 years ago" Justin said. "why didn't you say anything?" Marie asked "I didn't think it was that important." Justin said. Right then Madison felt like someone punched her in the stomach. He didn't think it was important! "What about you Madison?" Marie asked. "I didn't want to say something and ruin your relationship." Madison said quietly."I'm sorry" "Don't be sorry it isn't your fault." Marie said as she looked up at Justin. "Please don't fight over this. It isn't worth it" Madison said. "I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed that no one told me. It isn't like there is anything going on between you two anymore right?" Marie questioned. "No" They both said. "Ok them. Madison thank you for coming over and clearing this up" Marie said. "Your welcome" She said and got up. "Do you mind if I take these and look at them?" She asked Justin. "No go ahead" He said and handed them to her. "Ok thanks bye" She said and walked out the door. "Justin you know you could have told me" Marie said. "I know, but I didn't want to ruin anything we had" Justin said. "Is that why you don't like to go to Crystal Bay Carnival?" Marie asked. "What?" Justin asked. "There is a picture of you and Madison at Crystal Bay Carnival. Is that why you don't like to go there?" Marie asked. "Umm yeah kind of. It just brings back old memories." Justin said quietly. "What happened there? Is that where you met?" "No we met and Jaime and Lance's wedding" Justin said. "What happened there?" Marie asked "umm i would rather not say." "Justin you can tell me." Marie said. "It was the first time we ever said 'I love you' " Justin sighed. "Oh I'm sorry" Marie said. "Don't worry we don't have to ever go there" She gave him a hug and a kiss. "Yeah I know" Justin said. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Madison went inside and sat down on the couch. She looked at the front of the photo album it was dark green with gold. She slowly opened the album. Inside were pictures of everyone. She went through it once. Then she went to the pages of pictures from Cancun. A tear ran down her cheek as she saw the old pictures of her and Justin. They were so happy, but they would never be like that again. She ran through them the rest of the afternoon. it hurt more than anything to see her and Justin together but she wanted to see them. Just to remember what it felt like. She was looking at the pictures when the doorbell rang. She got up and wiped her eyes and answered it. It was Jaime. "Hey" She said and answered the door. "Hey Maddy, What's wrong" she said and walked inside. "umm nothing" Madison said. Jaime looked at the photo album that was on the ground. It was open to a page of pictures of Madison and Justin together. She walked over and picked it up. "Madison, come here" Jaime said. Madison did as she was told. "I know you're crying because of this" Jaime said. "Jaime, I know, I miss that" She said through sobs and pointed to a picture of her and Justin huggin. "Where did you get these?" Jaime asked. "Justin had them at his house. Marie found them and called me. We had to tell her about us when we were together and I asked if I could borrow them to look at" Madison said and wiped the tears away. "Maddy I know you've heard this a million times from Molly and Me and probably Becca" Jaime started. "But if you want him back bad enough go for it. Don't give up. If he makes you truely happy then don't let anyone get in the way of your happiness." "But I can't. They're happy together" Madison said. "Are you sure? How do you know Justin wasn't looking at these pictures and thinking the exact same thing as you? How do you know he doesn't wish every day that Marie was you? Do you know the stuff he went through when you left?" Jaime asked. "No" Madison said plainly "He used to work non stop just so he didn't have time to think of you. If we were walking down the street and he saw someone that even looked remotely like you he would stop them just to make sure it wasn't you. If we were all at a restaurant and waitress' name was Madison he freaked out. Madison he loved you so much it's hard to believe that he doesn't anymore." Jaime said. "I Can't Jaime. I promised myself I wouldn't get in the way of his happiness" Madison said. "what if you are his happiness?" Jaime asked. Madison didn't say anything. "I have to go I just came by to say 'hi' I'll talk to you later ok bye" Jaime said walking toward the door. Jaime left and Madison was left thinking about that: . Madison he loved you so much it's hard to believe that he doesn't anymore It ran through her mind all night. Never in her life had she cried so much in one afternoon.
