| I was never the most popular person in school, but I had a blast with the friends I had! School was going great, and we were finally 'the big men or women on campus!' It was my senior year if you haven't caught on yet! Anyways.... my brother's band was just starting to hit it big, and by the way their name is O-town. People started noticing that I was Jacob's lil' sis. It was fine for awhile, but then Claire started coming around. "Hey Bridgette! Do you wanna eat lunch with us?" she asked. I looked over at my friend's trying o find an out! " If it's ok with you guys?" I asked trying to get them to help me out. "No it's fine with us! Go ahead!" They both said with smirks on their faces. I looked up at Claire. " Ok, sure." I said in an edgy voice. Claire smiled and grabbed my arm and walked me over to her friends. As we mad our way over there, all she did was talk about O-town and how much she loved them! Honestly, I didn't care, but we had nothing else to talk about! When we got over there, she acted as if I didn't know any of her friends. She introduced me to each and everyone of them! "This is Jody, Vicky, Jessie, Robby, Brendan, Brain, ......." she just kept listing all the names. These lunch meetings became more and more frequent, then became permanent. Claire, in time grew on me. But my other friends kinda, scratch that did resent me! I mean I thought we were gonna be friends forever, I guess things don't always work out the way you want them to! |
