| Brooke's hands trembled as she read the letter over again. "What wrong with me?" She scolded herself as a boost of fear ran through her veins. "I'm a trained FBI agent. I don't get scared because of some more a pansy sends me! Get it together Bryant!" She told herself angrily. She took a deep breath as she searched for her cell phone. She retrieved it from her bag and dialed Jim's number. "Moor" He answered. "Jim, It's Brooke" "What is it now Bryant?" Jim asked annoyed. "I got another note, letter, whatever these things are!" Brooke yelled. "Calm down, Brooke! Just leave me the note in the lobby and I'll have in checked out." "Ok" Brooke said calming down. "You concentrate on being Riley, and tell Lisa about the letter." Jim ordered. "Ok, I have to go we leave in like half an hour." "Bye." He said and hung up Brooke shoved the note in her bag and walked out of her room. She quietly made her way down the hall. When she reached the end, she felt someone grab her hand. Instinctively she grabbed the hand and karate flipped the person. Brooke turned around to see who her victim was. It was none other than Chris. "Jeez, Ri, where the hell did that come from?" Chris asked with a laugh. Brooke turned bright red. "I... I... ugh I, my dad's a black belt in karate." Brooke lied. "Note to self don't sneak up on Riley." Chris said as he got up. "I'm sorry." Brooke laughed and kissed him on the cheek. "Are you ok? You seem a bit jumpy." "Me, Jumpy... no... I'm just tired." Brooke smiled. "You're not gonna kung-fu grip me if I kiss you right?" Chris asked with a laugh. "No" Brooke said and kissed his lips. "Awww.... Isn't that cute!" Justin said in a baby voice. Brooke just laughed. "Can it Timbercake!" Chris yelled back as usual. Justin stuck out his toungue and walked away. Brooke looked up at Chris and smiled. He looked down at her and held her close and then kissed her forehead. "I love you" he whispered. "I love you too" She said in return and smiled then she changed the subject. "Where are you going?" "Breakfast. Care to join me?" Chris asked. "Sure, I'll meet you there. I have to go get the schedule" she lied. "Ok see ya." He said and kissed her once more. Brooke walked down to the lobby and left the note for Jim. She then walked upstairs and to the breakfast room. She grabbed a bagel and juice and went to sit down with everyone. "Hi" Everyone said. She greeted everyone in return as she sat down. "Did you get the schedule?" Chris asked. "Ugh, yeah..." She said and pulled out today's agenda which she had gotten the day before. "You guys don't have a show tonight." Brooke noticed. "Yeah, but we have a bunch of photo shoots." Lance said dully. "Oh joy!" Joey said sarcastically. Everyone finished eating and they headed to the 'Teen People' photo shoot/ interview. The photoshoot, which consisted of the guys wearing kids outfits and playing on a play ground, lasted for about 4 hours. They then had an interview then lunch. After lunch they went back to the hotel for an online chat, which lasted an hour. Then they had another interview this time with 'Tiger Beat' magazine and another photo shoot with 'TV Guide' to top it off. By the time they had finished it was 7:30 PM. Finally they got to relax and have dinner. As they sat around a table at the hotel restaurant, they chatted about the day. They finished eating and say there for a while. "We should go. Johnny wanted to have that meeting. remember?" Lance reminded after he glanced at his watch. "What meeting?" Brooke asked. She had not been informed of any meeting, usually she knew everything they did. "Johnny wanted us to meet with him" JC explained. "Didn't he tell you?" Chris asked. "No, where is it?" Brooke asked. "He said in his room" Joey replied. Meetings are never in Johnny's room. Brooke thought. "Oh" "Yeah we better go." JC said and got up. The rest of the guys followed. Chris got up and kissed Brooke good-bye. A strange feeling came over her. She didn't like it. "Are you going to the meeting?" Jill asked. "I'm thinking about it." Brooke said, "Actually Yeah I am." Brooke got up. "I'll see you guys later." There's something wrong with this. Brooke thought. She pulled out her cell phone and dialed for Jim. "Moor" He answered. "Jim, it's me. I think something's wrong." Brooke said. "What is it? Does Lisa know?" Jim asked. "I think she might have caught on. Ok well there is a meeting in Johnny's room I didn't know about and they are never held in his hotel room. Send for back up. I'm goin' in" Brooke said and hung up the phone before he could talk her out of it. Brooke hurried to Johnny's room. She knocked on the door a couple of times. She heard it click unlocked. She pushed it open and found all the guys tied up on the floor. "Oh Brookie! So good of you to join us!" The person said and grabbed her arm and dragged her in the room and closed the door, locked. |
