�Hey! Jayce can I talk to you?� Chris asked JC when they entered the backstage are of the venue.

�Yeah, sure� JC said and walking over to Chris.

�I wrote something.� Chris said once they were alone.

�What is it?� JC asked. Chris pulled out a folded piece of paper out of his pocket and handed it to JC. JC unfolded the paper and read it.

�Oh Wow! This is good.� JC said and looked over it again.

�Thanks�

�When did you write it?�

�Last night. It just kinda came out.�

�Is this about Riley?� JC asked curiously.

�No� I wrote it about my mom!� Chris said sarcastically.

�Sorry! Jeez! � I think this would be a really good song.�

�Really?�

�Yeah well with music yeah.� Chris didn�t know what to say.

�So you�re in love with her?� JC asked with a grin.

�Huh?�

�Well at the end it says and I quote: �I�ve fallen� so does that mean you�re in love with her?�

�Uh, yeah.� Chris said shyly.

�Are you gonna tell her?�

�I want to.�

�Seriously?�

�Yes, but I don�t know when� Chris sighed.

�Well the time comes you�ll know.�

�Yeah. We should go everyone�s probably looking for us.�

�Yeah come on.� JC said and walked out the door.

�Lee! It�s Brooke, I have to talk to you!� Brooke said eagerly.

�Ok what about?�

�It�s Chris�

�What about him? Is he in trouble?� Lisa asked panicking

�No! It�s just� I think I�m in love with him.� Brooke mumbled into the phone.

�You�re what!?!?!? Are you crazy!?!?�

�I think I am, I mean I don�t know what�s wrong with me!� Brooke said.

�Oh jeez!�

�Yeah but Lee! You can�t tell Jim! I can�t leave, not yet� Brooke sighed.

�I won�t, but Brooke he doesn�t know you! He knows Riley�

�I know� but I can�t help it.� Brooke whispered as a tear ran down her cheek. She quickly and carefully wiped it away so it wouldn�t mess up her make-up.

�Does he like you?� Lisa asked.

�Yes�

�I don�t know what to say.�

�I have to go� Brooke said.

�Alright I�ll talk to you later.� Lisa said.

�Bye� Brooke said and got up from the bench she was sitting at in the park in front of the venue. She started walking back inside.

His soft brown eyes were set on the stars far above him. He heard the door of the roof open he turned to see who had come up.

�Oh I didn�t know you were up here.� Brooke said ready to turn around and leave.

�Wait, don�t go.� Chris called. Brooked turned back around and walked over to him and leaned against the ledge as he was doing previously.

�What are you doing up here?� Brooke asked.

�Thinking� Chris stated simply.

�About�?�

�Stuff�

�Oh� Brooke said not wanting to pry.

�What were you gonna do up here?�

�Same, Just think.�

�Wanna think together?�

�How does that work?� Brooke asked with a laugh.

�Well I guess you could call it talking.�

�Oh talk� sure. What about?�

�What were you gonna think about up here?�

�Umm� probably anything that came to mind.�

�Like what?� Chris asked.

�Being on this tour, my friends, my family�� Brooke said not really realizing what she was saying. She was being completely honest.

�What do you think of this tour?�

�I think I�ve had fun. It�s an interesting experience which is quite stressful.� Brooke said.

�Stressful?�

�Well yeah. I mean not like I�m gonna die of stress, it�s more like � draining.�

�That�s understandable� Chris said.

�What were you gonna think about up here?� Brooke asked once more looking over at him.

�You� He blurted out. Shit he thought.

�Me?� Brooked asked confused. Great now I�m stuck! Chris thought.

�Actually, when we went to the banquet and we were at the lodge thingy.�

�What about it?� Brooke asked.

�We never actually finished talking�

�Oh� I guess we didn�t�

�No, and you didn�t answer my question�

�And what was that?� Brooke asked.

�Do you like me?� Chris asked. Brooke looked at him wide eyed and didn�t say anything.

�Well�� Chris said. Brooke still didn�t say anything.

�Riley?� Brooke still didn�t say anything.

�Ok I�ll take that as a �No� then� Chris said and started to walk away.

�No WAIT!� Brooke said and grabbed his hand.

            He looked down at his hand, which was held with hers. Then his eyes drifted to hers. He slowly leant forward and brushed his lips against hers. He pulled back and looked at her.

�Oh jeez� Brooke said. Chris looked at her and laughed lightly.

            He leant forward once again, this time instead of a brief brush their lips locked. Brooke unconsciously put her arms around Chris� neck, while his arms went around her waist. The kiss lasted for a while and like all great things it had to end.

            Brooke didn�t know what to say. She had never been kissed like that before.

�So does that mean you do like me?� Chris asked with a laugh.

�I would hope so� Brooke laughed and hugged him.

�Good, because I think I�m falling for you.� Chris whispered into her ear.

�How do you know?�

�I saw them kissing on the room. She�s gonna be preoccupied with him and will forget all about everything else.�

�Ooh this is going to be good!� The person said evilly and they both laughed.
