ANGELS
Evangelions were created to destroy these Angels to save humanity and to stop the Second Impact starting all over again. Angels have A.T Fields which makes it impossible for anything to break through and attack them. The eva's also have A.T Fields so it is more safer to battle them.
Angel # 1 - Adam
Discovered in the year 2000 by a research team. This Angel caused the Second Impact which wiped out half the world's population.
Angel # 2 - Lilith
Lilith is hidden in NERV Headquarters where nailed to a red cross. Lilith's blood is the LCL that is used in the Evangelion's entry plugs. It is not known where Lilith came from.
Angel # 3 - Sachiel (Angel of Water)
Sachiel is the first Angel seen in the series. Shinji is sent to fight it. This is his first battle but manages to overcome the Angel's power. Unit - 01 regenerates and causes the Angel to self-destruct.
Angel # 4 - Shamsel (Angel of Day)
Shinji is once again the one to battle this Angel. Toji and Aida's interferance doesnt help with this mission, and to make it more difficult, there is no power cable attatched to Unit - 01. Shinji has to quickly defeat the Angel. He defeats the Angel after going beserk.
Angel # 5 - Ramiel (Angel of Thunder)
Destroys everything with a beam of powerful energy and tries to penetrate NERV headquaters. It is snipered by a rifle that has to use all of the energy in Japan for power.
Angel # 6 - Gaghiel (Angel of Fish)
This Angel is in the form of a fish and wants Adam's embryo that is inside Kaji's suitcase. It is destroyed partly by Evangelion Unit - 02, with help from a group of battleships.
Angel # 7 - Israfel (Angel of Music)
When this Angel is cut in half, it instantly forms another two angels that work together synchronized. Shinji and Asuka have to work together to attack the same way as each other.
Angel # 8 - Sandalphon (Angel of Birth)
Unhatched, this Angel is detected in Mount Asama in magma. Asuka is sent down to capture it, but attacks when everything seems to be going to plan. It can stand immense heat in hot lava. Sandalphon is destroyed from the cooling systems in
Unit - 02.
