Some of the best skater pros ever would be some of the obvious like Tony Hawk. They all are rather great skaters and all have some of there own tricks. My all time favorite is Tony Hawk though.
In 1999 Tony Hawk was the best. For five years now nobody has ever been able to beat him. Sandra Dias is the only person in the world that has landed the trick.
Tony Hawk was only nine years old when his brother gave him a banana board. Tony Hawk was a real hyper kid who was always getting into trouble with a real fast metabolism. Hawk was so hard on himself that his parents had him psychologically look at in school by a evaluator. What the physiologist told him and his parents is that he is advanced. He has the mind of a 12 year old kid and a body of an eight year old. So with those circumstances he had to be put into a upgraded or advanced class.
With Hawks hipper ness he was all over the place but when his brother gave him the board his whole personality changed. He became calmer and was able to function more correctly without having to do something. His body had finally caught up with his brain. He also quoted when he was younger "If I don't do my best it kills me,".
By the time Hawk was 12 years old he was getting sponsored by a skateboarding company. When Hawk reached the age of 14 he was considered pro and by the time he was 16 years old he was one of the best skaters ever. When he was 17 he had estimated that he had been entered into 103 different pro contests. He won 73 of those pro contest and he got second place 19 different times. He is by for the most professional skater in the world.
At the age of 17 Hawk bought his own house in Del Mar California. By the end of the next year he bought another house in Fallbrook California with 4 acres and built a monster skate park. He then married Cindy Dunbar in April 1990 and they lived in the Fallbrook house. Then just like that Hawk ran out of money in 1991. Times were so hard in the industry at that point of time that he was getting Burger King wages of five dollars an hour and his wife a manicurist was the main provider in money. They got so financially in debt that they sold the Fallbrook house and his Lexus. Then in 1992 his wife gave birth to their first kid Riley. Hawk then refinanced his house and started a skateboarding company called Birdhouse Projects. Two years after he first started his business he and his wife Cindy got a divorce.
In 1996 he got re-married to a woman named Erin Lee and bought a new house with a pool. Now days Birdhouse is one of the largest skateboarding companies. He is signing documents with large companies like DC and Adios. Hawk than also started a new clothing company called Hawk clothing for little kids and teenagers. He also started making all of his own video games of all the Tony Hawk Pro Skater Undergrounds.
In 1999 Erin and Tony had another kid named Spencer on March 26.He already is a pretty good skater and loves doing it he rides a mini-board around Tony's kitchen. And then again on July 18, 2001 he and his wife had yet another kid named Keegan. He is even more of a crazier person than his father. Then again Tony Hawk and his wife Erin divorced in 2004 and Hawk still remains a great father. Then at the age of 31 he decided to stop competitive skateboarding. The main and 1 reason he decided to retire is because he then completed his list of tricks to do. His last trick was the 900 which was performed at the X games in 1999. Of that list was a ollie 540, kickflip540, variak 720 and then the 900.
