Strangeland: an excursion into body art with deadly results!
By Noah
Id been meaning to rent this movie for a long time.  I thought it looked really cool, but it also sounded weird enough that it make cause my parents to think that I was on drugs.  Fortunately, my mom already thinks that.  So, I got to go out and rent it.

The entire movie tells the story of Captain Howdy (horrifically portrayed by heavy metal legend Dee Snider), a man dedicated to giving teens a right of passage.  Which, in his own words must be physical, it must be painful, AND IT MUST LEAVE A MARK!.  Trust me, the guys a total nutcase.

Howdy is covered in piercings and tattoos.  In fact, the entire right side of his body is tattooed.  It sounds stupid, but it actually looks really cool.  Its a tribal design, so it goes well with his pale, pale skin.  The piercings look like they might possibly impair his ability to do some things (like blow his nose, considering he has a hole in his septum large enough to stick your finger through), but they work.

His plans are going along fine until he abducts a detectives daughter.  She survives, while Howdy is captured.  She also has nice tits (which we are treated to time and again, and again, and again, and again).

After his capture, Howdy is consigned to a mental institution.  In fact, hes cured!  This is where Ill stop telling the story, because this movie has to be seen to be understood.

The images this movie provides are truly awesome.  The music at times is bad, but when its good, its really good.

This movie is worthwhile watching, simply for the last 15 minutes.  That and the lynching scene.
