To the greatest group of friends...sisters...that I will ever have.
To the memories we shared and the college years we will never forget!
Fall 1998
The sorority is 100 years old and we celebrated it in style.  First the matching 100 year ZTA shirts in the fraternity's color turquoise.  Then a sisterhood on the afternoon of October 15th 1998.
After a semester of being in Chico and Zeta Tau Alpha I took a little sister.  She wasn't so little, two years my senior...but that seemed to be the theme of the family line, I too am older than my big.  Above we took a family line picture at my little's initation night.  Looking ever so pure in our whites.
Greek Week - Community Challenge is a great oppurtunity to raise money for the Boys & Girls club through fun competition.  For one of the events your team (our fraternity in this case) builds a human pyramid, disassembles and re assembles is 10 feet across the yard...the team with the fastest time wins.  We came in first this year.
One of the aspects that Zeta Tau Alpha prides its self in is sisterhood.  No matter the chapter, no matter the school, no matter the girls,  you will find that every Zeta Tau Alpha chapter has a strong sisterhood.  This was one of our retreats "camping" in a get-a-way for a fun weekend of bonding and joking around.
Bid Day we found interesting ways of taking family line pictures.  It really was as fun as te pictures reflect...most people I "shoot" (photography term) try too hard to look like they're having fun...for us it just came naturally...we were a silly bunch  that did it for the fun of it.
Spring 1999
After Rush is all over we get to party with all the other sororities and fraternities at what's called Rush Kick Off.
All the work is over and we get to enjoy the company of all our new members on Bid Day at the sorority house.  A new camera angle for this picture of the old girls.
Bowling with the Phi Delts as random social on a Tuesday night.  It's a lot cleaner than inviting them over for dinner and having to clean up afterwards.
A pic of the girls at the Spring formal this year.  Formals are a great time to get dressed up and go out to dinner and have a "ball" type dance once a semester.
Time for graduation...the senior bar crawl 2001.  We hit up 8 bars in two hours ending at the ever popular Riley's "Greek Bar" as our final destination.  14 foot limo and 11 graduates driving back and forth across town...good times.
We showed off our self made graduation caps, gotta have that ZTA pride allt he way up to the graduation ceremonies.

"Sisterhoods" are mid week activities put together to go out and have fun as a chapter.  A great chance for new girls to meet the older members.  A break in the hard week of studying, classes, work, etc.
This 'sisterhood' we spent at the local (only on in town) bowling alley for 3 lanes of competition.
We crowned our Gutter-Ball Queen at the end.
