It all started, long ago, when Frank Castle's family was killed.To get revenge, he became the vigilante known only as, The Punisher. After successfully getting his revenge, he gave it all up. Time went by without the word Punisher being spoken, until an incident occured that the Punisher was reborn in a brand new way. Now in the year 2023, the Punisher is different from the original. It is now a group of vigilantes instead of just one and they have access to wide array of new weapons and new technology.
In a metropolis known as Lunara, where the skies are blackened from industrial smoke and huge sky scrapers line the horizon, a gang known as the Reaping Guns have been reeking havoc all over in the ghetto and in the business industry. One night when Adam Stryker and a close friend were leaving work, the head man of the Reaping Guns, who's name is a mystery, came riding by with a few henchmen. They drove by so fast that Adam didn't realize he'd been shot in the leg and that his friend had been shot dead. As he lay there in a pool of his own warm blood, with people screaming and trying to see if he was alive, he thought hard. After awaking in the hospital a few days later, the doctor told him the bad news. The bullet entered his right leg and tore up muscle and cartailage, as well as badly shattering his femur. The only way to save it was to either amputate or to make it bionic. He chose the bionics and after several hours of surgery, he had a new leg.
While recooperating, he was thinking about his revenge. He got and idea to start a new vigilante group obviously named, The Punishers.
After getting out of the hospital, he told some friends about the idea. They decided to help in anyway possible. Luckily for him, one of his friends worked at a gun shop and could get them munitions for the tasks at hand. So after a few months, the Punishers, at ten strong, began to get back at the Reaping Guns. They slaugtered henchmen and foiled plots. Now the hate between the two gangs is at its climax and either side will do anything to rid one another from the city.
