Over the years Pulse Magazine has brought you, the Hofstra Community, countless stories covering a variety of entertaining topics in a committed attempt to inform and interest the student body.
This semester our commitment remains as strong as ever, while the scope of our efforts has narrowed a but, focusing on the issues that are taking place right here in our own backyard. As a magazine produced by and for Hofstra students, we want to get to the stories that matter to us most, whether it's the hottest new trend, a health issue affecting students, or the state of University politics.
In this issue we run the gamut, covering issues ranging from student sleep deprivation and drug abuse on campus, to the latest trends in tricked-out cars, tattoos and music. We also look into the past, present and future of Hofstra sports and politics, and uncover some of the coolest was to eard a few Universtiy credits. Our dedicated staff worked hard to produce an issue that is relevant to the Hofstra community, and dare I say, we succeeded.
