Thanks to your support and God, I completed the Boston Marathon on April 18th, 2005, and the Chicago Marathon on October 10th, 2004, the latter of which I ran in 3 hours 10 minutes, (my fastest time yet!) qualified for Boston, and raised over $1300 for the ALS (Lou Gherig's Disease) Association ! On April 25th, 2004, I painfully ran the mediocre NJ Shore Marathon for Children's Charities. I also ran in the endearing Pittsburgh Marathon on Sunday, May 4th, 2003 because the 2nd Annual DC Marathon was cancelled.
I also completed the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Annual Sea Colony Triathlon, my first Olympic distance triathlon, on Oct. 4th, 2003 in 2 hours, 50 minutes, and I raised over $820 !!! Pics at this site (bib #195) (Official results here)
And I finished my first marathon (my second time running 26.2 miles), in the
Marine Corps-AIDS Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 27th 2002 in
Washington, DC and raised $2,200 for the Whitman-Walker Clinic!
