How to make a Woozle

Materials:

  • Wool 8ply - Red
    • 10 - 15 x 10 cm length (body)
    • 6 x 21 cm length (arms)
    • 6 x 35 cm length (legs)
    • 1 x 30 cm length (to hang
  • Curtain ring (3cm)
  • Set of eyes
  • Glue
  • Safety pin

Instructions:

1. Cut pieces of wool to the length required (see above)

2. Loop the body pieces onto the curtain ring (see diagram)
3. Arms: place 3 pieces of wool together and loop over the curtain ring. Plait the arms using 2 pieces of wool per weave (see diagram). Tie off the plaiting by tying a knot in the end of arm. Trim edge. Repeat for second arm


4. Legs: as for arms, except place a knot in the middle of the plaited leg to make a knee


5. Thread a longer piece of wool on the top and add a safety pin


6. Glue on eyes


7. Your Woozle is now finished
