Each team must have a minimum of twenty players and up to a maximum of twenty-five on their pro roster which includes three centerman, three left-wingers, three right-wingers, six defenceman and two goaltenders. There is a maximum of fifty players for each team's entire orginization (Pro and Farm) and each team MUST have three goaltenders. Farm players will make 10% of their pro salary.
Waivers:
A player who is 24 years old or younger will not be subject to waivers. If a guy 25 years and older play 25 games in a season, they will have to pass through waivers before going down to the farm. Players on waivers will be listed on waivers link. So be careful when sending guys down to farm, as when i put through lines youve requested and youve sent a guy down that qualifies to be put on waivers, he shall be put there.
Prospects:
Each team may have as many prospects as they like, but if a prospect is not created within six seasons he will re-enter the PFOHL entry-draft. A prospect can only be created if they have played in the NHL or are currently playing on an NHL team's farm team.
Position Changes:
A player may only change positions if www.tsn.ca or www.hockeysfuture.com or www.espn.com states he can play that position.
Trades:
All GM's involved in a trade must post the deal on the message board. Once all teams have confirmed the trade it is official. Trades must be submitted in the following format on the message board:
To Boston:

Resignings:
All guys under 31. can resign up to 4 during the season. 5 years max contract. atleast 20% salary raise.(more for better players or camped players who started out with only 450 k).
Contracts:
Contracts may be from one to five years in length and the minimum salary will be set at $450,000 per year and the maximum being $7,500,000 per year.
Ticket Prices/Arenas:
Ticket Prices may only be changed during the off-season. GM's may add extra seats to their arena during the offseason and it will cost $1000 per seat added.(maximum 2000 seats added at the start of a season).
Simming:
The Commissioner of the PFOHL will sim THREE sim days per real day and the times of the sims will be posted either on the main page or on the message board every week.
RFA Compensation:
$750,000 or below ---> No compensation
$751,000 to $1,000,000 ---> Third-Round Selection
$1,000,001 to $1,250,000 --->Second-Round Selection
$1,250,001 to $1,750,000 --->First-Round Selection
$1,750,001 to $2,250,000 --->First & Third Round-Selections
$2,250,001 to $2,750,000 --->First & Second-Round Selections
$2,750,001 to $3,500,000 --->Two First-Round Selections
$3,500,001 to $4,500,000 --->Two First-Round Selections & One Second-Round Selection
$4,500,001 to $6,000,000 --->Three First-Round Selections
$6,000,001 to $7,500,000 --->Four First-Round Selections
-A team may sign four of it's RFA's to be during the current season.
-Unrestricted Free Agents are any player that is 31 years of age of over. Any team may bid on UFA's during the offseason and the team that had his rights before he became a UFA will not recieve any compensation. When the free agency period begins there will be a list with all free agents on it saying whether they have signed with a team or not. The offers will be scored on loyalty, money, years offered, the team's preformance and the player's role on the team.
-THE COMPENSATION PICKS RECEIVED BY A TEAM LOSING AN RFA WILL BE THE MOST RECENT PICK THAT THE TEAM POSSESSES. ie If philly signs a 1.75 million dollar player from Calgary, Calgary will receive Phillys most recent first round pick as compensation(2007 be the most recent year). ***compensation is given out as per the per year salary that is offerd to RFA(ie. 751k per year offerd to a RFA, would result in a 3rd round pick given to the team that owns the rights)
Entry Draft:
The PFOHL Entry Draft will consist of five rounds and the order for the bottom five teams will be decided by a lottery draft. Prospects salaries will be determined by the overall rating.
*Rookie/Draftee contracts wont be longer then 3 years.
CAPTAINCIES:
You choose 1 captain and 2 assistant captains. (goalies DO NOT qualify)
a)can only choose these before season starts
b)player eligible for captaincies have to have atleast 3 years of experience in pfohl.
